Blind Sided (Draco Malfoy Love Story)

Chapter Eleven.

Aster and I headed back down to our common room once it got closer to lunch time so that I could change out of my wet clothes and into some warmer ones. Of course I told her what happened between Draco and I minus some juicy details, this does naturally make me wonder if he'll actually acknowledge me again or if he'll be cordial with Aster. Regardless we're about to find out the hard way as we just reached the portrait guarding the entrance.

"Password?" it asks us.

"Pureblood." I reply and the door swings open.

We both walk in and the common room is buzzing with nearly everyone in there chatting away with their friends, it dies down to a whisper when they see Aster and I. We've gotten used to it over the past few weeks since we all know how they feel about her and her "infidelity" the first person I look for is Draco, I need to know if he's going to keep ignoring me in public after what happened. If he does then I swear to Salazar I will punch him in the nose instead of the jaw this time and then never speak to him again after playing me like that AGAIN.

"Looks like the princess has arrived." I hear his smug voice behind me and I smile a little.

I turn around to look at him, "Well look at you slumming it with the blood traitor and her friend, are you sure mummy and daddy would approve?"

My tone comes off a lot harsher than I intended but that didn't wipe his smug look off his face when I look up at him. He gives a brief nod to Aster before turning his attention back to me, he leans down close to my ear.

"What they don't know won't hurt them." He whispers to me before standing straight again.

I smile softly at him a little when he winks at me, we just kinda stand there in silence until Aster clears her throat. I'm going to be completely honest, I totally forgot she was standing next to me.

"If you don't mind, Seronia and I need to get changed in a fresh pair of clothes." her voice is slightly strained as she tugged on my elbow.

"Could people quit manhandling me today?!" I tear my elbow from her grip while laughing as I follow her.

Aster elbows me playfully as we head up to our dorms, before Draco would have disappeared from sight I glanced back and smiled at him. I'm glad he's at least willing to be nice to Aster even if it's for my sake because I don't know what I would have done if he refused to even acknowledge her. When I reach my dorms door I step in and immediately go to my trunk to find a fresh pair of clothes to change into, there's not much for winter clothes but at least I have some black pants and shirt that I could wear. The black shirt is just a standard fitting long sleeve shirt that I usually wear under my uniform when it's cold but on occasion I wear it just on its own, it wasn't until I had it on did I notice the big mark that Draco had left on me earlier. Holy shit there was no way that this shirt could cover it and I can't just wear a scarf either because that would just look weird and hella obvious too, I'm sure Aster has something that I could borrow since she's used to having to cover up these sort of things. I try to cover it with my hair but if I move at certain angles you can still see a small portion of it so that's no good either, huffing in annoyance I leave my room and go over to Aster's.

"Hey Azzy, do you have a shirt I could borrow?" I knock on the door just as I walk in.

Almost immediately she throws a black long sleeve collared shirt at my face while laughing.

"I knew you'd need a shirt to borrow, I was just waiting for you to come in and ask." she says smiling at me.

I roll my eyes at her as I change into the shirt and she laughs even more once she sees just how big the hickey is, commenting on how she didn't think that Draco had it in him to do that. Once I've finished buttoning up her shirt we head back down to the common room where Draco is leaning against the wall as though he's waiting for me, ordinarily I would say the both of us but I know that's not the case.
