Hi! My name is May. I'm new at writing stories and I wanted my first book to be a fanfiction about my favorite show. This is a story based off of Death Note. If you have not seen this Anime series, you might need to watch it before reading this story. This will be a story closely based off of the real story. EXCEPT, Light Yagami and L eventually fall in love over time.
This story will take place after during episode 16-17 and on. I will be making my own spin off to what happens after Light looses his memories of the death note.
RECAP OF EPISODE 16 OF DEATH NOTE: L has always suspected Light of being Kira. With a plan in mind to clear himself of suspicion, Light decides to let L lock him up in a secure facility where L and the rest of the Task Force can keep a close eye on him to figure out if he is Kira. After several days of his detainment, there has been no killings going on ever since he and his girlfriend, Misa Amane (also under suspicion of being the second Kira), have been locked up separately. After several weeks, Light finally signals Ryuk to give up his possession of the death note. He then looses all memories of ever having or killing from the note. Several days after he has lost all his memories and given up possession of the note, killings begin yet again. L and the rest of the task force are surprised since they were almost convinced Light was in fact Kira. Even though killings have continued to go on, L will not release Light until he is sure that Light isn't Kira.
