I think today was the most boring class. maybe it's because we started algebra and I hate algebra or because i had a cute boy sitting next to me and i couldn't do anything about it. Whatever it was, it made math boring. Lunch finally came around after Mrs. Darth's class and when i got up, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to find Matt standing behind me "Hey, I'm Matt, what's your name?" he asked. I replied "Y/N. Hey um wanna sit with me at lunch?". He answered in the happiest tone "I'd love that!". I was so happy because I knew for sure, that Matt knew I existed.

Matt's pov

I was so happy when Y/N asked me to sit with her at lunch. Maybe she did like me. Hopefully she did because you don't find girls like that every day. She was definitely special. Lunch was good in many ways. I got to know Y/N and she actually gave me her number! She was different because when I asked what her hobbies were she said "this may sound lame but writing and listening to my idol Drizzy Drake.". "Omg I love him too!" i answered. "That's pretty sick" she said. "I think we should talk about this over text tonight. Am I right Matt?" she asked. I simply said "Yes that'd be perfect!". She asked what locker i had and turns out we're locker buddies. This first day back was amazing.

I decided to write a bit since i was bored. Just when i was about to write, i got a text:

Matt: hey! hopefully i have the right number! it's Matt :)

you: hey matt! and you do it's Y/N. So how are you?

Matt: I'm good but bored haha

you: Oh haha. So we didn't end up talking about you today. What are your hobbies?

Matt: I love to play basketball and listen to music. I know it's weird for boys but I think, no I know, music is my life.

you: That's so cool! Don't worry, it's not weird, it's cute ;)

Matt: Oh so I'm cute?

you: Maybe... I gotta go! ttyl

Matt: goodbye beautiful

Did he just call me beautiful? I think he likes me a lot but that just makes me want him even more. Sadly I barely know him. Oh but he's so cute! I need him. I need Matthew Espinosa in my life.
