The Devil's Deal!

Chapter 1: The beginning

Sora's P.O.V

I fell to my knees as I cough up blood gripping my arm. I looked to my left to see my sword out of reach and nearly broken. "D-Damnit... this is bad..." I thought as I struggled to stand with my legs feeling like they were about to fall off. I forced myself to stand up as blood would flow down my legs. "I... I think my bones in my legs are broken..."  I looked forward as I saw someone looking at me, smirking at me like he knew this would happen. "This is pathetic." He said to me as I took one step forward falling back on my knees. "How... how did it end up like this..." I thought as I couldn't feel my legs anymore, and my arms were starting to become numb. "I just wanted to protect them..." When I looked at the person in front of me I saw he put his hand up as a dragon flew up into a sky, and hovered above him. "How in the hell did it end up like this!?"

Authors P.O.V

To understand how our main character ended up like this, we must go back to the beginning, of when the deal that should have never been made was made. Now to take you back to the beginning where this all started, I hope you enjoy this story.

Sora's P.O.V

I slowly open my eyes as the sun shines through my window basically blinding me. "Uggghhh why did morning come so soon." I rolled over as I tried to fall back to sleep, as someone bangs on my door loudly. "Don't you dare fall back to sleep boy! You have school today!" I groaned as I slowly got out of my bed as I could hear the person at my door leave. I opened my closet grabbing myself a red shirt, black pants, black jacket, underwear and socks, as I get dressed. When I'm dressed I head out of my room and head down stairs as I managed to catch the smell of eggs and bacon. "Finally awake huh sleepy head?" I looked as I saw a man in a chair reading the news paper. "Yeah sorry I'll do better Kai." Kai looked at me as he smiled. "I know I ain't your dad because I married your mom last year, but I would like to be called that, son." He said as I looked down.

"Sorry sir, I'll try to remember that." I said as he smiled a bit. "It's ok, I understand, I mean if my mom married someone, I would have a hard time getting used to it." Right when he said that a little kid ran up to me trying to tackle me. "Hey Sora!" I looked down to see my half brother as he was smiling at me causing me to smile and head pat him. "Hey buddy sleep good?" I asked as he nodded. "Mhm I sleep good!" He said as I got on my knees and said to him. "Hey go attack mom, go wild!" He nodded as he ran into the kitchen to attack mom, as I stood back up. "It's hard to believe he's already five, it seems like yesterday he was crawling around." My step dad said with me nodding in agreement, as I grab my bag. "Well I should head out now, or I'll be late!" I said heading for the door.

"Have a good day at school!" I heard mom yell from the kitchen as I smiled. "I will mom see-ya mom!" I said opening the door and heading out, and walking up the road. After about five minutes of walking I stop at my friend Mia's place, and knock on her door. "Hello? Who is it?" I heard her mother's voice behind the door. "It's me ma'am, Sora." She quickly opened the door smiling to greet me. "Why hello Sora, you here to walk my daughter to school?" She asked as I nodded smiling a bit. "Yup, is she awake?" She put a finger on her chin as she nodded. "Yeah just woke her up, so it'll be a bit." I sighed a bit shaking my head a bit. "Figured as much, I guess I'll wait out here then." I said as her mother quickly said.

"You can come inside if you want Sora?" I looked at her as I nodded going inside her house. "Sorry for the intrusion." I said as I put my bag down against the wall. "Here come sit on the couch." She said as I sat down on the couch. She brought me a glass of water, as I gratefully took it. I started to drink the water for a few seconds. "Soooo when are you going to date my daughter?" When she said that I started to choke on my water as she quickly grabbed a towel. "W-What?" She just smiled as I blushed at the thought of dating her daughter. "You heard me? When are you two going to date?" I blushed even more as I looked away "i-I... I only think of your daughter like my own kid miss." She quickly smirked  sitting next to me. "You think of her as your own kid, so does that mean you like me?"

She asked me as I blushed quickly as she leaned up against me with her chest pressing up against me. "I-I uhh mean you are an attractive woman and all." I heard foot steps from the back of the house. "Aww looks like we are out of time cutie~" I blushed as I quickly got up, going to the front door grabbing my bag. I saw Mia and her sister walk out. "Morning Mia!" I said as her mother walked to the kitchen as Mia walked up to me hugging me. "Morning Sora!" I hugged back as we smiled, with her sister scoffing as us. "You two should just date already." She said as her mother quickly said. "I know right, they make the cutest couple!" We both blushed as we broke our hug. "M-Mom, Sis why are you trying to embarrass me!" They laughed as I quickly said." I care about Mia, but like my own daughter. Meaning I want to help her and take care of her, making sure she's safe."

When I said that Mia blushes brightly as she looked at me. "Y-Yeah! He's like a father to me! N-Nothing else!" Both her sister and mother just smirked as we decided to leave as fast as possible. "W-we're heading out mom!" Mia said as we left her house basically running to get away from there. After about six minutes of running we stop half way to school. "Think we are far enough Mia?" She was panting trying to catch her breath nodding. "Y-yeah we should be." I sighed in relief smiling. "Well that's good, now for us to get to school."

Mia smiled finally caught her breath as she seemed excited. "Yes sir! Are you paying for breakfast and lunch today?" We started to walk to school as I nodded. "Of course anything for my little girl." I replied in a joking tone, causing Mia to blush. "Yay free breakfast and lunch!!" I laughed a bit as she seemed so happy, I wanted to keep her happy  no matter what. I patted her head as we headed for the school building.
