The Devil's Deal!

Chapter 2: The Promise that started it all

Sora's P.O.V

Mia and I were walking to school, smiling and talking about our future. "So Sora, what do you want to be when you graduate?" I was asked as I looked up a bit, thinking. "Hmm well first I think I would start as a part-timer, then meet a good woman, then get married, then start a full-time job at... hmm maybe a game company." Mia just looked at me as we kept walking to school as she mumbled. "W-Well after I graduate I want to be with you." I managed to hear her say something, but I couldn't hear what she said.

"What was that little one?" I asked her as she blushed brightly. "N-Nothing! Nothing!" she said as quickly as she could, as I tilted my head. "Uh ok then, well we better hurry up to school so we not late," I said as I started to run a bit to the school. "R-Right!" She replied as she ran to catch up to me. I smiled as we continued to walk slightly running to school. After about 10 minutes we arrived at school, I looked up at the building sighing. "What's wrong Sora?" Mia asked me as I looked down at her.

"Oh nothing, it's just it's my last two years here, I'm a junior now and I don't fully know what I'm going to do after here." I sighed again looking up at the clouds, as Mia hugged me. I looked at her confused as she was smiling. "Hey, it'll be ok, no matter what we'll be together right?" This caused me to blush a bit as I nodded gently. "Yeah we will, together till we die." I said as I smiled gently, causing her to smile. We head into the school building as we see that there are less people than normal.

"Hmm strange? Are we early?" I asked as Mia shrugged her shoulders as we head to the cafeteria. On the way there, we notice that the wall slightly looked different. "Did they do a paint job over night?" I was confused as Mia just shrugged again, which got my attention a bit. "Mia?" I said as I stopped looking at her, and instantly she stopped and looked at me. "Yeah Sora?" Her voice sounded a bit different as I just said. "Is everything ok? You haven't really said anything since we arrived here?" She just smiled, which made me feel slightly uncomfortable, but I ignored it. "Yeah I'm fine Sora."

I sighed as I pat her head as I smiled. "Ok, I was just worried is all, now let's go get our breakfast." Mia was still smiling and nodded as we headed to the cafeteria for our breakfast. About a minute or two we were half way there as Mia accidentally bumped into someone. The person who she bumped into, gripped her shoulder as he seemed pissed. "Hey! Watch where your walking!" He said which caused Mia to start shaking as I could tell she was scared. "I-I'm sorry sir, I'll be m-more careful." The persons grip was getting tighter, due to her small yelps in pain.

I quickly gripped his arm forcing it off her and basically throwing him to the ground. "Don't you know that you shouldn't put your hand on a lady, or even hurt them you bastard!" For a split second my eyes changed from black to a bright crimson red. He got up as he gripped his fist. "S-Sora it's ok, it was my fault." He faced me as people started to gather around us. "You think your so tough?" I sighed as I put my bag down and put my hand up, popping my middle finger.

He swung he right fist as I put my arm up, blocking and pushing it away, then kneeing him in the gut pushing him away a bit. He gripped his stomach as he glared at me. "Is that all you got, bastard?" I asked taunting him as he swung left fist as I moved out of the way, causing him to swing his right one, hitting me in the face. "Hah! Take that!" I smirked as he backed up causing  a bit of blood to come from my nose, as he puts up his fists ready to continue the fight. I slowly faced him as I wipe the blood off as I smirked again. "Lucky shot, now try that again!"

More and more people kept gathering around as I popped my index finger, In continuation to him swing his right fist, with me quickly moving away, he then swung his right elbow back to try to catch me off guard. I quickly swung my left hand around my head catching his elbow. "This is all you can do?" He quickly swung his left leg hitting my leg causing me to lose balance. Right when I lost my balance with the leg he kicked I quickly swung it up kicking him in the jaw, causing him to fall down.
