Hello! Thanks for coming here. This is very important to me and should help me gather my thoughts and accept myself. I also want to teach as much as I can about my personal experience with autism. You can ask anything, including topics of bullying, early life, childhood, friends, jobs, and et cetera.
Please write your question as a PM below, and I'll make a chapter in this book for my response with you tagged as the asker. If you rather have anonymity, please PM me your question.
Don't worry about offending me. I'm not offended much.
This book is for anyone who's interested.
Also, for those interested, I dislike the term Ableism. I hate how many terms there are to make someone seem like they had less struggle than anyone else. I've had my forms of struggle, you've had yours. Now let's move on and not call each other names like ableist. That goes nowhere. Calling people such titles takes away the chance for debate and conversation and also invalidates someone immediately.
Similarly, I hate how often people call others misogynistic or racist. Those terms stick and hurt someone for their entire life, and they destroy conversation and make an assumption over someone being superior. We all have battles.
Don't demean your fellow human with words because they are unlike yourself, whether you are weaponizing the words to offend someone's mental illness or to offend someone for privilege over lack of illness. As far as I'm concerned, they are just as harmful to someone's psyche with repetition.
That being said, please ask away anything you'd like to know. I won't call anything you say demeaning. If you're here, you're curious. That curiosity is all I desire. I'm here to act as a teacher, and I won't scorn mistakes.
