Chapter 9 - Sacrifice

I started to wake up

Somehow after our fight with Valentino I'm still alive

When my eyes started to see better, I found myself lying on the couch

I was inside of the Hotel

Millie and Moxxie approached me

Moxxie: You awake - she said with relief - That's good

Millie: We were worried you know?

Zach: Oh... - I felt bad still - What happened after our fight with that jackass, Valentino? All I could see before passing out was Angel killing him with the spear

Angel approached us

Angel: Well... After my former boss was dead, his girls were free from him and decided to try to be redeemed

Well that's good

But then I noticed, that something isn't right

Zach: Wait! Where's Lennox?! - I qas worried

As I know ftom the fight, Valentino was able to rip Lennox's wings off

Angel got nervous

Angel: Yeah... About that... After we transported back into the Hotel, your cousin sonehow was still breathing, but was dying. He used all his final strength to get rid off of the wounds you three had. I'm sorry, Zach, but he died. We tried our best to save him. But evrn when Charlie's father, Lucifer himself, apoeared, he said nor him, nor God either can do anything to save him.

I was broken

AllI wanted to cry

Zach: How... How that all happened?

Flashback Start

Angel started to narrate anout how it happened

He, Alastor, Vaggie, Charlie, Husk and Niffty ran to us, checking if we're still alive, but thank to Satan/God we wrre still alive, but we were dying

Charlie and Vaggie took my body, Husk Millie and Moxxie's

And Alastor decided to take care of Lennox

After returning into the Hotel

They were trying their best to save us

Thrn Lennox hardly opened his eyes and decided to save us, but it could cause him his own life

But he didn't care

Better save lives by scarificing your own

After that he died

Even after Lucifer Magne appeared, he could fo nothing to bring Lennox back, knowing it's impossible to bring the Fallen Angel back to life

Even God said that, when he appeared

Sure, he let Lennox ability to be able to transform from Angel to the Fallen Angel and back, but simce Lennox was fighting as the Fallen Angel... It's impossible to help him

Flashback End

I was looking at Lennox's lifeless body

I didn't wanted to believe in that

It should've be me

Not him

Why?

Why life is so cruel?

Zach: I'm sorry. - I said to him, thought knowing he will not hear me - You were always the best. Sometimes I thought you are much better than me.

It's been some time now

I told Stolasia about what happened

She didn't took the news great

She along with her son, who still was a baby, was thinking how to live now

I decided to leave her alone, being afraid of how scary she can be, while angry

.....

After some time I started to date Moxxie, Millie, Loona and Blitza

But still couldn't believe my cousin was gone

I hope he's in a better place now
