I love you no matter what [ON HOLD]

Chapter 1

"Are you ready Emma? We have to go now!" My mum yells from downstairs, I can't believe I'm finally heading to college. I've been waiting for this my whole life and now it's here, right around the corner. I can get new friends, maybe even a boyfriend. I've never had one but I hope this will change my life once and for all.

"Yeah mum, I'm just gonna take a last look at my room" I shout back, this is so exciting. I'll miss my mum and dad tho, it's a 6-8 hours drive to San Francisco from L.A. So I'll take the train. It won't trouble my mum and dad then, and a student from the college is going to meet me up at the train station. That's good 'cause I'm not gonna find my way to campus otherwise.

I take a last glance at my room before I rush down the stairs to see my mum and dad waiting for me in the opening. Oh god what I'll miss this house, especially my best friend Abigail. We have been besties since kindergarten, I can tell her literally everything! I promised her that I would text her when I arrive so she doesn't need to worry and of course she wants to know if there are any sexy guys over there.

My dad takes my bags and carries them to the car as I open the door to the passenger seat. It's just my mum who will be following me to the train because dad has some important things to do at work even though it's sunday.

"I'll miss you so much baby doll" my dad says with tears in his eyes, "You've become such a beautiful and good girl, I'm so proud of you" he says and wipes a tear from the edge of his eye. "I love you dad, I'll call as fast as I get there" I promise him, he smiles and closes the door to the passenger seat. "I love you too, drive safe guys" he says and walks up to the house again.

It takes about 10 minutes to the train station and I take a tearful farewell to my mum who says that she loves me more than I ever can understand and she's so proud of me. This is something pretty special to my parents since I'm their only child.

I get to wait like an hour before the train arrives to the station and I walk onboard. While I sit on the train and wait for it to get to the end station which is San Francisco, I read a book, listen to music, text Abigail and plan everything for my first day in college. After 7 hours on the train I'm finally there, in San Francisco! This is so cool. The first thing I do when I get off the train is to pick up my bags and to call my mum. She's been trying to reach me but I was asleep so I didn't notice her calling.

She answers on the second signal, "Hi mum, I've just arrived" I shriek like a girl that has just met her big role model. "Oh my god, I'm so glad everything went good! I was so worried when you didn't answer" she says with relief in her voice. "Yes everything went good, I was sleeping when you called just so you know". "Oh well that's good, I need to look after your dad now 'cause he's making dinner and you know what can happen when he cooks" she laughs, "haha yes, say I said hi, I love you and I'll call you tomorrow". "I love you Emma, bye" she says and with that I end the call. I text Abigail that I've just arrived and everything went good.

I take my bags and head for the openings where all the taxis stand, on one placard it says "Emma White" which is my name. A curly black haired boy stands there and is obviously waiting for me.

"Excuse me, are you my guide" I ask carefully, "Yeah if you're Emma White?!" He says with annoyance in his voice. I really don't want to make enemies the first thing I do, I have to take it cool. "Yeah...that's me" I say and blushes a little, "Oh hi, I'm Jason and will be guiding you around campus" he says happy. "I'm sorry I was being rude, I just had a fight with someone. I didn't mean to take it out on you" he says and I get really surprised, I shouldn't be. I know how boys works sometimes, I hate their mood swings in the puberty. "I'm sorry to hear that" I answer him as he opens the door for me to step inside the cab, "Here you go" he says and jumps in to sit right next to me, "Take us to University of California Berkley" he commands the driver. It takes 15 minutes to come to campus because of all traffic, it's a big city. Bigger than I ever could imagine.
