"lukey?" i called out as i strolled into the younger boys apartment. expecting him to be alone i walked through various empty rooms until i got to his bedroom, which wasn't so empty.
i jumped sky high and slammed the door behind me as soon as i had escaped the horrific scene that happened right in front of me.
my breathing was heavy as my mind caught up with what i had just encountered. my eyes darted around the empty hallway as they tried to find a distraction for my brain.
it felt like hours before i slowly walked down the hallway and exited through the apartment door, leading myself to my car.
