4 An Angel

I bought Popsicles on the way. As I rode my cycle Inside the orphanage and park it in the cycle stand.

"hey there ji a" I almost flinched at the voice.

"oh... Hi ajussi kang" I greeted the director of the orphanage.

"you back here, lemme guess. You ran away from home."

"you know me so much. But I am specifically here for byul"

"I haven't even put her up for adoption for you"

"don't. I am gonna be 20 soon I will adopt her. Her brother entrusted her to me. I am her guardian"

"I know. I know" he says after messing up my already messed up hair.

I take those Popsicles, hiding it from other staff of the orphanage to byul. She is 7 months old. As soon as she sees me, she starts laughing and reaches out her hands for me.

Time slows down here.

As I go to her and grab her she kicks in the air and pulls my shirt to climb up.

"mah! Mah!" yup. She calls me mah, because I am the only person she interacts with.

"lil byul missed me. Mah is here" I speak with her while swinging her.

I opened the packet and popped a bite of and she put the whole thing in her mouth at once and had a hard time fitting it in her mouth.

"calm down babes, the thing ain't going anywhere" as I wipe her mouth, she gives me another chuckles and starts punching the air.

ajussi Kang POV...

"is she back again?" ms. choi ask(the head of staff)

"yes, she is" I reply while looking at Ji a play with byul.

"how long has she been coming here?"

"well, from the day the baby came here after the car accident." 

"what exactly happened ?" she asked.

"nothing much, byul's whole family died in a car accident, while bringing her back from the hospital, ji a was in the car also. just ji a and byul survived. when none of the relatives came foreward to take of her. a 19 year old did but she wasn't a adult so, byul was sent here. ji a is waiting to be 20 to become her legal guardian."

"ji a! oh god this sweetheart is an angel"

"she is suspended from school half of the time" that jerk of a guy, ji a's classmate and also my son spoke out of nowhere throwing his bag in the corner eating a popsicle.

"those who can't understand her will surely be able to do that, she is out the narrow mind of the world." yass, my badass ms. choi spoke.

I am just nodding there.

"last time, to throw byul a 6 month birthday, she vandalised her principal's car and was standing there smiling and exactly said 'i did it, suspend me' that incident still manges to make me laugh, the whole school knows she is crazy, nut job."

as he says both of start laughing.

"kang dong hoon! shut up" I say mockingly.

"I still prefer the other twin" he says.

"Never tell anyone she comes here, I am gonna cut your allowance to zero if you do" I threaten him but he brings out a nervous smile. until ji a suddenly holds his collar and drags him, pinning him to the wall.

I know he is dead, I won't even go to save him. byul is full on hearing from the crib. even ms.choi turned to a different side.

Ji a POv...

I was taking byul for a stroll until I heard dong hoon. he is dead today. I think I am too.

as I pin him to the, he gives me a guilty smile. " you told jae yi right."

"no i di-" he was gonna lie but I smacked the wall and he blurted out quick.

"sheofferedmeapopsicledate and I said it" he said, quiet fast, faster than yoongi's rap

I pull myself back resisting to hit him. "my dad didn't have a thing against me, now he is gonna blackmail me with byul".

dong hoon POV.

the moment she smacked the wall, I am certain saw the grim reaper, I shouldn't have snitched on her, am I gonna die today and I blurted out.

I knew her relationship with her family wasn't good, but I didn't do it deliberately, jae yi is super popular in school every guy wants to go out with her, I just went on a date with her and I said about ji a to become close with her.

for the first time I saw fear in ji a's face.

"jae yi ofcourse wont tell your dad" I said to her in reassurance

"JAE YI WILL! YOU DONT KNOW HER. and my dad can drop down real low to control me" saying this she got out of there.

grabbing her bag, jacket, she pecked byul's cheeks and ran out of there. she. was. crying.

"did I do something so wrong" I asked looking at my dad and ms choi. who reach out to craddle lil byul who is shouting out for ji a.

"Do not talk to me for a while" ms.choi says at me with death stare.

"you are grounded. school to house, house to school if I even catch you with a human other than a male you are dead. now you gonna change diapers of all the kids in this room" my dad just gave me a punishment harsher than death sentence and I cant even say no.

I just saw Jia running out of there.

"will jae yi really snitch on her too?"

JIa POv

I need to rush to my house, before my dad does something that can't be repaired. what will my dad do? shit he got my weakness. I am dead today?

I sat on my cycle and rushed out when ha nuel stood there.

"dad knows about byul" I saw almost holding onto my tears.

he just smiled and came near me standing in front of the cycle. "I knew you would be here." He says

"it's okay, everything gonna be fine. I will go look over her and you go deal with your dad." that gave me reassurance as I paddled my cycle started ridding straight to me house. it had gotten darker. I planned to sleep here tonight, now I need to go back.

I know taehyung's part is little less, but i will get him in the story as whole pretty soon.
