Niall's POV :

Essence pulled my hand to the house after she talked to the officer while annoyed, so I wondered what happened. As I started to look at her thinking of a nicer way to say what's wrong with you, she started to break down and her eyeliner was all over her cheeks ." What's wrong? You are going to ruin your make up!" I said.
"I need to tell you something very important but please be a good listener . Promise?" She said .
"Definitely . Go ahead love." I answered.
"Spencer is my husband. I never really liked him. I tried really hard to , but it was very challenging . Probably you are wondering why I married him , if I didn't like him, well, when my father was in the accident and we rushed him to the hospital, his last wish is marry Spencer and love him with all your heart. I did half of it. Spencer was nice and sweet in the beginning , but after we got married, he changed to the worse. We used to have a fight every night and forgive each other before we sleep , but I got tired of it and one day I left him and ran away to grandpa. He was angry and mad to the point , he called his friend Daniel and informed him to kill grandpa. Daniel went to my family house and shot my grandpa . At first,I thought it was an accident, but when I thought about it , I had a feeling that it had to do with spencer. Spencer and i met in college and we were the same age. He was my first boyfriend and he was nice and we loved each other . what did we know about love? We hanged out and that's when my father met him , he thought he was the person that suits for me, but he was wrong."she said in a worried voice.
"Was that the one who answered Zayn ?" I asked.
"Yes , this was him. HE HAD TO DO WITH MY GRANDFATHER's DEATH!!" She said in anger.i didn't have an answer to her , all I could say is it's okay, he is your husband and remind her that the police is outside. After a couple of minutes, she calmed down . Then, she decided to show me something .
"He threatened me if I said anything , I am dead!" She said.
"We need to tell the police. It's for your own good!" I said.
"No, no please. My life is on the line here." She said.
"I am sorry Essence . I just want to protect you from him."I said while hugging her , then she pulled my hand and went upstairs .
"There you go, this was room when I lived with my grandparents." She said while looking in the mirror .
I didn't just see a girl's bedroom , but it was more than that. The room color was beige with the sign 11/22 ER in wooden. "What does that mean?" I asked.
