third person's (omniscient) pov
the sky was still dim and gloomy. the crisp air hit kageyama's skin as his arms hugged tightly against his freezing body. the streetlights were still on, lighting up a familiar path. his head was clouded with thoughts as he walked to school with his bag slung around his shoulder loosely.
"GOOD MORNING KAGEYAMA-KUN~!!" he suddenly heard a voice call out to him. kageyama swiftly turned around to meet with a cute ball of sunshine, beaming at him as the latter rode his bike towards the other's direction, warming the raven's heart as he does. his bright orange hair messy but perfect as always, bouncing along with his cute movements; his hazel eyes sparkling under the faint streetlights; his bright, adorable smile that never fails to make kageyama's heart skip a beat--
our tobio just couldn't help but think about him that way. the way he would look when he's desperate for his tosses, when he's smiling oh-so innocently when he compliments him... kageyama wonders what would he look like if he kisses him-
i swear to god why the fuck am i so gay. he thought. he just can't help but fall in love with hinata.

hinata's pov
"bye okaa-san! bye natsu!" i gave them a soft smile as i bid goodbye. today was yet another school day. i set of with my bike and pedaled towards the school. on my way, i spotted a familiar looking black-haired tall ass dude.
"GOOD MORNING KAGEYAMA KUN!" i shouted at the top of my lungs. as i inched near him, he wasn't responding to my greeting or whatever. what a weirdo, i thought to myself. given the situation, i used the chance to annoy him.
i got off my bike and parked it aside. he still hasn't moved an inch, so i decided to wake him up by swinging my arms around his waist. oh shit this is a bad idea-
my heart was beating so fast it feels like it was about to shoot out from my body. i bit my lip, waiting for him to react. after a few seconds of out awkward hug, kageyama frantically pushed me away.
"h-hinata..! the f-fuck are you d-doing dumbass?!" i saw a red tint crept to his cheeks as he stuttered. i pouted and looked at him with puppy eyes to tease him more as he glanced away, clearly ashamed of how he reacted.
"nothing kags, i just thought you needed a hug," i gave him a reassuring smile but on the inside, i was panicking like he did. oh god, this day started out weird already...

kageyama's pov
oh shit, i stuttered was the first thing that came to mind. i didn't expect the intimate hug, nor the fact that he said that he thought i needed one. it's not that i hated the hug, it's just- it made me want even more...
