I awoke to a pale blond kid, shaking me awake and waving letters in my face.

"I'm awake, I'm awake," I sighed. I slowly opened my eyes. 

Draco jumped next to me, "Look what arrived today." His smile was so wide. 

Draco handed me the letter. It was light tan with a red crest. I immediately recognized the letter. 

"It's from Hogwarts!" I yelled.

"Yup!"

I quickly ripped it open. I waited my whole life for this letter. 

"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore (Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)

Dear Miss Riddle

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all the necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

UNIFORM First-year students will require:

1. Three sets of plain work  (black)

2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear

3. One pair of protective gloves ( hide or similar)

4. One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings) Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.
