family dinners are usually pretty fun, right?

"eden! you ready?" her sister called out.

"yeah let's go." eden said as she walked out of her room.

"oh eden, you look nice. let's go. we don't want to be late for dinner now do we?" stacy grabbed her car keys after putting her shoes on, then headed out the front door. eden followed her, not saying a word.

stacy looked at eden as they pulled into the driveway. "eden, you cannot talk about your streaming life shit with them. you hear me?"

"yeah sure." eden said as she closed the car door, walking to the front door. she knocked, waiting for someone to open it. as the door opened, she saw her much shorter mother there. "mom hi!" said eden as she hugged her mom.

"where's stacy?" her mother said, not greeting her back.

"hey mom!" stacy ran up to them and hugged her.

"stacy, how are you?" her mother asked as they all walked inside.

"i'm super busy. university is stressing me out." she laughed.

"is that stacy i hear?" a voice came from the kitchen. it was their dad.

"hey dad i'm here too!" eden called out.

"oh hi eden." he said as he came into the living room area they were sitting at, hugging stacy.

"hey dad! dinner smells really good." stacy said.

"well thank you." he smiled.

her family talked for a while, eden looking at reddit. she was really bored, so she decided to text the group chat.
