Tonight I have to spend a full night with Brads friends. They are all apart of a dance group he's apart of, at least we will have at least one thing in common. James has nothing to worry about, him and Brad get on just fine. Why wouldn't they. They both like annoying me, both spend hours in the bathroom doing their hair and both have that lovely cocky attitude. A world with two James's or even worst two Brads. How am I supposed to cope.

Me and Lauren been getting to know each other, she actually a really nice girl. She is in James's year and has promised to look after him, what I guess is nice of her. She apparently has been dancing for most of her life, she was thrown into it as her mums a professional dancer too. That's all I found out about her, mostly she was trying to ask question about James, 'oh so does James have a girlfriend back home' . She seems very interested in him, finally someone is, its my turn to annoy him.

It's currently 4:00 at the moment meaning I have 3 hours to get ready as everyone's  coming round at 7:00. James and Brad probably won't get ready until last minute. Typical boys the throw on a shirt, brush their hair and they look good. But for girls it's completely different. Half an hour on make up, another 40 minutes on hair and then picking an outfit. It just take so long! Currently me and Lauren are looking in my wardrobe for outfits. It's hard to choose one when all I get is 'it's a night out, but make sure you can dance in it'. Clothes for dancing and clothes for a night out are completely different. So what the hell am I supposed to wear...

"So what do you think of Brad then"
"Don't even go there"
"I thought you two were close... I've heard him call you babe"
"God no. It's his way of annoying me I guess"

Me and Lauren was finally ready at 6:50. It shouldn't of took us that long but that's what happens when you spend more time talking than actually doing anything. We both decided on the typical jeans and a nice top look. It's every girls back up plan when you need to be dressy but practical. Brad, who's took less than half an hour to get ready like I said, finally put our food in the oven - what he should of done 45 minutes ago as I'm bloody starving! Suddenly there was a knock on the front door, and anxiety flooded in. I heard brad and Lauren go downstairs and James just walked in my room, does he not know how to knock.

"What happens if they don't like us?"

"Then we go make our own friends, these are brads friends remember, we might not even like them"

I did but didn't believe what I was saying. Part of me didn't care if they did or didn't like me. I also didn't want to like them because if I did I would have to be forced to spend more time with Brad that i already do. However it wouldn't hurt to at least know some people before I start a new school, then I don't feel completely alone.

"You do know we don't keep guests waiting right" Brad said just walking into my room, just like James.

"You do know you could knock right"

"Just come on."  James had already left my room so he grabbed my hand and pulled me up

"You might actually like them, you thought of that. Babe"

"You need to stop calling me that" I said walking out of my room.

"Everyone that is Tanya and that's James."

James had already started talking to people, he was stood in a comer talking to one of the lads. I will always admire his confidence, I'll talk to everyone back in New York but I really kept to my regular group so it was hard for me.

"Brad I think I'll be coming round a lot more now" one of the boys laughed and looked at me.

"Keep your thoughts to yourself Harvey." The girl sat next to him said.

Cocky and confident, just like the boys at home. I would probably get along with him. I smiled back at him, but out of my eye I saw Brad staring at him, and he didn't look friendly. Soon Brad introduced me and James to everyone and the pizza was ready. Finally!
I started to talk with the girls, they were all really nice, not to mention pretty. There was six in the group. Lauren who I already know. Jess and me got along straight away, we both has the same sarcastic sense of humour. She seemed very loud and confident what I love, she was very similar to the girls I used to know. Aria however didn't speak too much, but she seemed pleasant. Courtney was the complete opposite, she made sure all of her opinions were voiced. In the time I was sat getting to know them she already had one argument on her phone, and let's just say I won't be getting on her bad side. Hannah just seemed to agree with anything Courtney said what was getting her annoying. Finally there is Natalie, I hardly spoke to her as she was talking with the lads most of the time. However I don't blame her, the girls are nice but very overpowering.

"Brad babe, I told you I can't eat pizza. It doesn't fit into my eating plan" Courtney moaned.
"You can break your training for one day "Courtney, two slices of pizza won't kill you" Brad didn't get a response just a disgusted look.
"Come on we need to go or we will be late" one of the boys changed the subject.
"Yeah"

We had to go in 2 cars. Boys in one and girls in another. What I didn't understand why don't they mix, but hey at least I don't have to talk to new people.

"Tanya you go with the lads, you've not got to know any of them" ... fuck I jinxed myself.

I didn't want to look rude and refused so I just agreed. I sat in the front with one of the lads called Josh. He seemed very cheerful, he was very easy to talk to what is definitely a positive. As soon as I got in the car he was asking about me and James and what we think of Chicago so far. It was nice to talk to a boy who doesn't purposely try to annoy me. Harvey was sat behind me earwigging into mien and josh's conversation. He was the flirty one from before, his personality reminded me a lot of Jake, what was nice but it just made me miss him more. Then there was Ben, George and Daniel. We didn't speak much, just a quick 'hi' but otherwise that was it form there. I did think I would get along with them all just fine, yet I longed for my friends back in New York even more now.
