The car ride was completely silent. Dad kept his eye on the road and I was on my phone the whole time.

Kristine told me that almost every one knew that I got kicked out... That doesn't bother me at all because I seriously don't care about what every one else thinks about me. I intend to care more on what to think about others.

"You do know that I'm gonna be the one who fixes your teacher's car right?" Dad broke the silence.

"Uh-uh."

"And you're going to help me." He added.

That right there got my blood rushing! I love cars! Specially fixing them, Dad knows that too. Which only shows that he isn't that mad at me at all. Maybe just a litle bit.

My dad turned to see my reaction and as soon as he saw my huge smile he chuckled and punched my arm playfully.

"Weak." I said under my breath, but Dad clearly heard me.

"Oh, so I'm weak?" He blurted out.

"Yes." I said firmly.

"So, the girl who kills spiders with a remote control isn't?"

"Ugh! Dad you know you would do the same if I'm not around!"

My dad burst out into laughter and so did I. The car ride soon ended and so did our teasing...

I love my dad. He seriously knows how crazy and stubborn I can get, but he still sticks with me through the end...

As soon as we got inside the house, Dad dropped his keys on the table and dropped himself on the couch. I did the same instead I dropped my bag on the floor and landed on the couch beside him.

"Thanks for getting me off of work early." Dad said softly.

"No problem." I answered as a smile crept up to my lips. I moved closer to him to wrap my arms around his stomach and sides. Dad then slung his arms around my shoulders and my head rested on his chest.

"You're a bad girl kiddo."

"I know, and don't call me kiddo!"

He laughed and placed a kiss on my forehead making me close my eyes and tighten my hold on him.

"Let's take a nap, Dad." I suggested.

Dad moved a little, only to make his slef comfortable with a sigh.

"Good idea." He answered.

With that, I closed my eyes and dozed off to sleep...

---------------------------

"Kiddo wake up!" Dad yelled through the kitchen.

I stretched my feet and noticed that I was lying peacefully on our couch. I opened my eyes and put myself on a sitting position, then followed that with stretching my arms and a yawn.

"Wake up!" My dad repeated himself.

"I'm awake!" I shouted back to him.

I grabbed my phone out of my jeans pockets and I got about 3 text messages from Kristine.

"Hey, can I come over?"

"Yo sleepyhead, wake up already!"

"Text me when you wake up!"

Damn. I slept for a good 2 hours or more. It's now five thirty.

I texted Kristine back saying that she could come over anytime, then I headed towards the kitchen to see my dad making pancakes.
