Chapter One
Drip drop, drip drop
Was all Y/N could hear as she read her book early in the morning. She loved reading and enjoyed doing it in peace. The girl had a smile on her face and it turned bigger and bigger as she flipped the pages and read a new paragraph. The excitement on her face slowly faded away as she read the last sentence, "To be continued...". She looked up and tossed her book onto her bed. She got up and headed towards her window.
It was very cloudy outside and it had just stopped raining. The dripping noises had come from the raindrops falling against her window sill. Dirty puddles filled holes in the land around the Malfoy Manor. The girl sighed as she remembered last night's conversation at dinner.

"So, I've been thinking," Narcissca Malfoy began. "What if Y/N joined Draco this year, at Hogwarts?"
Everyone at the table looked up at Narcissca in shock. "No, I do not think that is a good idea." Lucius Malfoy replied in an annoyed tone.
Y/N sighed and looked down at her plate. She had been homeschooled her whole life while her twin brother had not. She never really knew why but she had a feeling it had to do with Draco. Draco was the perfect son. He had gotten into Slytherin just like his father, was on the Quidditch team, and had recently become a Prefect. He was Lucius's favorite, while Y/N was not so much as she had not been Lucius's ideal image of a daughter.
"She is going!" Narcissca demanded bringing Y/N out of her thoughts as she realized she spaced out during their whole conversation.
"Fine, but if she slips up we are sending her straight home," Lucius growled back and then looked at the girl with an angry expression.
She lowered her and picked at her food with a fork, as she heard someone leaving the room. Once the footsteps faded away into silence Narcissca began, "Don't worry Y/N. It will be alright. I'll send Draco to go with you to Diagon Alley to get your supplies."
Draco's eyes shot up from the plate to look at his crazy mother. "Mum!" He shouted, "Must I bring her along? Me, Blaise, and Pansy area meeting up and Y/N will try to embarrass me!" He whined.
"Why do you have to go to Diagon Alley or whatever it's called?" The girl asked and rolled her eyes.
He rolled his eyes back at her, "We are just meeting up." He said bitterly.
"Ignore him Y/N, you guys are going tomorrow." Their mother said.
"But mu-" Draco began to whine again before Narcissca gave him a death stare and he stopped talking.
