Sabrina's POV

I turn the mirror over in my hands. It's been a long time since I've felt a rush of magic. "What are you?" I mutter looking into the reflective surface.

"Who dares disturb me?!" The mirror shouts.

I yelp resisting the urge to throw the mirror to the ground, "Sabrina Grimm, Queen of Sneaks," I narrow my eyes at the mirror.

"Ah, so I see that Puck finally contacted you?"

"You could say that," I feel the desire to keep the mirror in my hands grow. "Mirror, Mirror in my hand. Please show me my mom and dad," I say the words barley sounding like whispers.

"Alrighty kid."

The screen shifts and a scene shows, mom and dad sit on the couch at Granny's old house. Basil is running around the room smiling and laughing, while Red chases making sure he doesn't trip. I smile at the sight, frowning when I see old Elvis, laying on his bed, one of Granny's old hats under his head.

"Veronica, it's hard to believe that our kids are growing up," the man says, his blonde hair messy and his chin slightly stubbly.

"Henry, I'm worried."

"Whatever for, Sabrina's recovering, Daphne is the same as ever, and better yet Sabrina hasn't shown any interest in boys."

"It's Sabrina, she might be recovering, but..." Veronica holds a book in her hand, "She's not okay Henry. You and I both know that. She need Puck and Jake to come back, she needs her family..."

"I've seen enough," My voice cracks.

"Are you okay dear?" The mirror asks.

"No. But that just means I have to fight harder. I'm stronger than emotions, I always have been and always will. I don't need anyone." I place the mirror back in the bag and tie my hair up. I'm doing whatever it takes to beat this thing and go home. I stand up placing my diary in my bag and glancing that the group. 'They're all so happy. It's been awhile since I saw Daphne smile that much.'

"Libling!" Granny called up the old creaky stairs, "It's time for dinner!"

Daphne ran a smile on her face, double braids flying. Uncle Jake's old trench coat hung off of her, it's sleeves bunched up. "Is the squid ink pasta!"

"Of course it's your birthday! You deserve a treat."

The family sat at the table, Henry and Sabrina half heartedly poked at the squid ink pasta on their plates. On the table there was a classic white birthday cake, and some wrapped presents. After dinner Daphne tore through the presents, gushing over the new diary, freaking out about the new magical items, and laughing in joy at a necklace Mr. Canius had picked out for her.

Puck's POV

I glance over and saw Sabrina she had that look in her eye, she was remembering something. Something important to her. I glanced over at Daphne and saw the light hearted nature in her face irrupt. As long as I had known Sabrina she'd never had that, never had that same innocence. Instead she had always seemed bitter and fierce. When I look back Sabrina seems to have just disappeared.
