Flynn's POV:

I made my way to the back door, what I saw outside elicited a smile on my face.
Jamie was attempting to carry a log to the fire pit while Noah and Tyler cheered him on like idiots, once he made it to his destination he sat the log down and triumphantly flung his hands into the air like he was a gymnast. I then walked into the yard and joined them, Noah happily made his way over and hugged me.

"It seems like you three were having fun" I felt him smile against my neck, "I wanted to try cooking on the bonfire- we thought to invite Tyler so you could get to know each other better" Jamie chirped from behind us while lighting the fire. The rest of our day was spent hanging out together and getting to know Tyler more.

Noah's POV~~

I learned a lot about family medicine while spending time with Jamie's cousin. Apparently he's the co-owner of a small medical clinic here in town- and also works full time as a family physician there. We also learned of Jamie's Aunt- who is actually in prison for the murder of Tyler's twin sister Thalia.   even though we're not close it still made me really sad to watch him sobbing while trying to explain the story to Jamie, (who was also crying)
I'm very glad he waited a few months before deciding to move here, because if she was still a free person Jamie wouldn't be safe..

Tyler went home shortly after we ate the dinner Jamie had prepared for us, (which by the way was amazing) Flynn and I are now laying in the bed while Jamie showers.

"How have you been feeling recently, Love?"  They rolled over and laid their head on my stomach, "A lot better than the start, I haven't really been getting sick like before"     "That's good" 💜
A few minutes of silence passed before they finally spoke up again,  "how is your wolf doing with Jamie?"    "Hmm, now that you mention it: he's gotten really overprotective with him, I can hardly convince him to let Jamie leave the house"      "Mine has been the same way, I think it has to do with us being in a new place"      "That would explain it, but I don't know why he keeps getting worse, seems like he should be getting more comfortable, right?"   The pause that followed told me Flynn was just as clueless as I am, I was about to say something when Jamie's phone went off- Flynn got up to silence it, but the look on their face upon seeing the caller ID told me- I wasn't going to like who's calling.   When they flipped the phone around so I could see, the name Ruby almost sent me into an angry tantrum through the house.

After telling Flynn what happened at the Café I knew they would be on my side with this.    Jamie and I had been sitting fairly silent in the corner of the Café, then out of nowhere he said we needed to leave, so I got up Jamie dragging me towards the door, we were almost out when I heard a loud crash and Jamie was pulled away from me, when I looked back I saw a snarky looking woman standing over Jamie who was laying on broken glass.   Long story short the bitch was named Ruby- and she was one of Jamie's bullies from high school, apparently he had gotten her expelled (for a reason unknown to me) and that idiot was still angry about it, she said something about it costing her parents a lot of money to enroll her in a fancy school after that as she now had a bad record.   I wasn't really listening, my focus was on Jamie- trying to get him into the bathroom so I could see how bad his injuries were, when I finally got him safely through the bathroom door the bitch tried to grab him again, by this point my wolf was only letting me have control because if he took over- I have no doubt she would've been ripped apart like some stuffed animal, so I stood my ground at the bathroom door.   She kept insisting I let her in so she could make Jamie pay her back for all the money her parents had to spend, eventually Flynn arrived and I went into the bathroom with Jamie.   Later on Flynn gave Jamie a piece of paper with Ruby's phone number and PayPal account, to both my and Flynn's surprise- he was actually planning on giving her some money to pay for "what he owed her" eventually we talked some sense into him, not before he already added her as a contact though.   Which brings us to the current situation- Flynn and I were attempting to think of a way to calm Jamie, he kept saying he would just give her the money so she would leave him alone, we were having none of that though, he shouldn't have to spend a penny of money on that bitch- just because she got herself in trouble and caused problems for other people. Eventually we convinced him not to spend a dime on her, Flynn blocked her number and said if she contacted him again to go directly to Flynn so they could deal with it, Jamie wasn't normally a pushover but when it came to people he had trauma with- he did anything and everything to make them leave, Ruby was no exception to that.

Though it was only 8:30 we decided to just call it a night, and me (not wanting to stress Jamie out more) didn't complain, even though I throughly didn't want to sleep at that moment.

The next morning I woke up with Flynn's alarm and waited for them to leave for work, after that I went downstairs to make breakfast and with my limited cooking skills that produced a poorly made scrambled egg toast for myself, with vegan blueberry waffles for Jamie. I was writing a grocery list while eating my creation, when I heard the bathroom door open upstairs as Jamie sleepily shuffled around getting ready for the day, as I contemplated putting his coffee in the microwave to warm it up, but a bird outside caught my attention instead, (I blame my wolf for this of course) so I got up and went outside, now obviously the right thing to do was shift and torment the poor creature- and I happily was doing just that, when a loud crash came from inside the house...
