As I strolled through the woods around Heights Alliance I glanced up at the sky.
It was bright with patches of cloud.
I had been out here for over an hour.
Bakugo had been kicking up a fuss about something or other back at Heights Alliance.
That was the last thing I needed so I left for some peace and quiet.
But it wasn't Bakugo's tantrum by itself that drove me to leave the dorms.
For the last week Yaomomo and the rest of the girls were pressuring me about Kaminari.
The last time we all got together, Ashido insured we play truth or dare.
The topic of love interests had, of course, come up and I had been forced into admitting my crush on Kaminari.
Now they wouldn't leave me alone.
Ashido had been telling me to confess to Kaminari so many times I was starting to see her in my dreams.
I stopped and leaned up against a nearby tree. I had been wandering around for over an hour wondering what I should do.
Did Kaminari even like me. Or did he just see me as a friend?
I stood forward from the tree and started to walk back towards the dorms.
As I walked I heard a faint sound coming from somewhere nearby.
It sounded like someone crying.
I followed the sound until I rounded a tree and found a little girl at the foot of it.
She looked about five or six years old.
She was wearing a grey coat, black trousers and black and white lace shoes, she was also carrying a satchel.
Her hood was pulled up over her face and she was curled up in a foetal position bawling her eyes out.
"Hey what's wrong, are you lost?" I asked, kneeling down in front of her.
The sound of a child crying had always tugged on my heartstrings. I could never bear hearing it.
The girl took her hands down from her face and wiped her tears away but didn't look up at me.
"I was out for a walk with my parents, and...and we g-got at-attacked by a v-villain. He hit me with his quirk and now I don't kn-know where I am." She sobbed.
Maybe she was hit by a teleportation quirk.
"It's okay, I'm gonna look after you until we find your parents." I told her. "My name is Earphone Jack."
Hopefully knowing she was with a hero would calm her down.
"Wait, what did you say your name was?" The girl suddenly asked.
"Earphone Jack, I'm a hero student at UA."
The girl threw her head up and stared at me, her eyes wide with shock.
As she looked up her hood fell back, revealing long, purple hair with a bit of black on one side.
"Mom?!"
I saw that she had earphone jacks too. This is...no way. Is this...my daughter?!
"Mom!" The girl shouted, jumping up and throwing her arms around me and hugging me firmly.
I was completely taken aback, I wasn't expecting this. What was my future daughter doing here?
The girl looked up at me, seeing that I hadn't reacted.
