Y/N POV
"Mom, I don't want to practice today. Can I just sleep in?" I whined to mom.
"Noooo, get upppp. I heard there will be new students there that transferred today and it would be nice if you can make friends." She whine-mocked me back.
"Are you saying I don't have friends?" I sarcastically made a shocked face.
"You know what I mean Y/N. Now get your booty up and be ready in 15 minutes." Mom stated and walked off.
With a heavy sigh, I stood up and went to get ready.
"Y/NNN!"
"WHATT!"
" Sunday morning ~" Joshua sang as he poked his head into my room.
"SHUT UP BRO! IT AIN'T SUNDAY!" I yelled as I threw a pillow at him.
We laughed and chased each other around the house which ended up in us playing tag and hide in seek.
"Y/N, we need to go," Mom yelled from the front door.
"Peace out sis, good luck at practice today. You better do well. I want both of us to be famous one day." Joshua demanded as we did our little handshake.
"I will!"
After skating practice, a guy and girl came up to me.
"Hi! My name is Johnathan. This here is Sabrina, my friend." Johnathon stated.
The girl next to him named Sabrina waved and smiled.
"Oh hi, My name is Y/N. Nice to meet you guys."
"Your spins were amazing! I hope I can get there someday." Sabrina uttered.
"Thank you. You guys were really good with your attempts. If you want, I can help!" I offered.
"YES PLEASE!!" Johnathon and Sabrina loudly answered.
We all laughed and went skating around the rink a little more to chat.
"Does that mean we are all friends now?" Johnathon looked at us with hopeful eyes.
Sabrina and I looked at each other and then back to Johnathon just to eagerly nod with bright smiles on our faces.

Y/N POV
I woke up on my bed with a nostalgic memory in my head. A memory that occurred 15 years ago, where three little eight-year-olds made a promise, to be friends forever.
"Y/N!!" Mom yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
"Yes, mom! I am already packed and ready to go!" I replied
I am about to leave California to go to Korea. My presence in the USA Olympic Figure Skating team slowly felt unwanted so I decided to leave. My parents know how badly this decision affected me so they talked to a friend they know in Korea and try to have my tryout for the Korean team. Thinking back to that tragic and unfortunate event made me tear up. My parents walked upstairs to help me bring my stuff down but stopped when they saw streams of tears leaving my eyes.
"Everything will be okay sweetie," mom spoke as she pulled me into a hug "you are strong. The strongest girl I know."
"And the most beautiful and talented girl," Dad added.
"You're just saying that because I am your daughter," I mumbled with a pout.
"I am saying what I believe is true!" mom expressed.
"Thank you"

At the airport, we were saying our goodbyes and embracing each other with mixed emotions of happiness and sadness.
"Your brother knows you're heading to Korea today. Give him a call when you land. Here are your keys to your apartment and remember to always lock your doors!" Mom nagged.
"I am sure she knows honey." Dad chuckled.
"Am I wrong for worrying about my daughter? Both of our kids are going to be gone now." Mom sarcastically wailed.
"You can always visit." I laughed.
"All passengers to Seoul, Korea please make your way to the gate and board the plane." The intercoms echoed throughout the airport.
"Goodbye! I will call you as soon as I land in Korea!" I shouted as I walked to the gate.
"Remember to call your brother too! Also, the coach will pick you up. Tell me how the try out goes as well!" Mom continues to nag.
"I know Mom! Goodbye, I love you both!" I shouted as I threw finger hearts at them.
I was in my head as I settled down in my seat.
Joshua is in a Kpop group called "Seventeen" and I am sure he is busy. I did not want to bother him. We use to talk on the phone all the time when he was just a trainee but when he debuted, he got busier and busier. We only now talk three times a year. I hope we don't have any awkwardness between us. I know Joshua knows about what happened and why I left the USA team because my parents told him. But I hope he doesn't take pity on me. That is the last thing I want.
I closed my eyes as the plane started to take off. Slowly I dozed off and another memory took place.

Y/N POV
"Y/N!" Johnathan and Sabrina screamed as they ran towards me.
"What's up?" I asked, confused as to why they look so excited.
"We are going to be going to the same high school as you!" Johnathan blurted out as he jumped up and down.
I looked at both of them, excited about the memories we were going to make. We all jumped up and down at the thought and giggled.
"We can go to practice after school, then get snacks and smoothies after practice together every day now!" I squealed happily.
