We Meet Again

I decided to go eat lunch at a restaurant. I order then sit down. The Crew bust into the shop. They're noisy but trying to be quiet.

"Small island." I say. They look over at me and sat with me while Kia talked to the owner. They look happy to see me except for JJ. he is looking intently at my black eye. I move my hair and try to cover it.

We all eat and joke. After a while I tell them I have to go home. Before anyone realized my black eye. We say our goodbyes and I leave the shop.

"Wait," I turn towards the voice and it's JJ. I stop and he runs up to me. "Who did it? Was it them again?!"

"No," I say looking down.

"You don't have to go home. You can stay with us at John B's house."

"Oh no I don't need to, this was an accident."

"Sure it was. We can help you."

I got a phone call from my brother. I step away from JJ and answer.

"Helo?" I say.

"I got some stuff for you to deliver, get here now." My brother says on the other end. There's a lot of noise so I guess people are over.

"On my way." He hangs up. "I have to go." I tell JJ.

He looks at me with concern in his eyes but lets me go. I feel my stomach flutter, just a little bit. Oh no.
