Chapter Six

I am very sorry about the really late update, I will try to get as many chapters out this weekend as I can.

1st person pov

"The King has cursed this land! He must be stopped! You have to go after him!" The Duke says to the people and his guards. "Wait, no!" Anna says as she hears this. The Duke hides behind his two guards, "You! Is there sorcery in you, too? Are you a monster, too? And, you?" He says as he points at Anna and me. Well, I do have the same powers as Eli but I can't say that... "No. No. I'm completely normal and she is too," Anna says.

"That's right, they both are," Hans says as backup, "In the best way." Gross! "My brother's not a monster," Anna says to protect him. "He nearly killed me!" Duke points out. I facepalm, "You just slipped on his ice," I say. "His ice!" He continues to point out. " It was an accident. He was scared. He didn't mean it. He didn't mean any of this. Tonight was my fault. I pushed him, so I'm the one that needs to go after him" Anna says and I look at her. "If you're going then I'm going with you!" I tell Anna and she nods.

"What? It's too dangerous" Hans says with a look of worry. "Eli is not dangerous. We'll bring him back and I'll make it right" Anna says with a look of determination. "I'm coming with both of you," Hans says. "No, we need you to stay here and take care of Arendelle," I tell him and Anna nods. We both get on our horses and Anna announces that Hans is in charge. "Are you sure you can trust him? I don't want you girls getting hurt" Hans tries to convince us to stay. "He's my brother and Y/n's best friend. He would never hurt us" Anna says then we both ride off.

~Eli's Pov~

'I should've brought Y/n with me, she wouldn't get hurt since she has the same powers as me. But Anna would've chased after both of us if I had taken her. I hope their both okay and not doing something dumb.'

~Y/n's Pov~~Timeskip to 20 minutes after they left on horses~

The snow got worse as we rode through the forest. "Eli! Eli! It's me, Anna. Your sister who didn't mean to make you freeze the summer. I'm sorry. It's...it's all my f-f-fault." Anna stutters, I look at her like she's dumb. He isn't gonna hear us out here, it's pretty obvious. We hear wolves howling but ignore it. "Of course, none of it would have happened if he'd just told me his secret." She chuckles to herself and I roll eyes at her. "Anna, he kept it a secret because he didn't want us to get hurt," I say to her with a hint of sass in my voice. Suddenly a tree branch snaps startling our horses knocking both of us flying off them. As we sit up the horses start running away. "Oh, no. No, no, no. Come back," Anna and I yell out. "No, no, no, no! Oookay," Anna says as she goes to grab a nearby branch to pull herself up. "Anna wait-" I try to say but the trees snaps up dumping all of the snow on top of Anna and me. I groan as the snow falls on me. "Oops, sorry," Anna says with a sorry look on her face.

~Timeskip to nightfall~

"Snow, it had to be snow, he couldn't have had tropical magic that covered the fjords in white sand and warm..."Anna complains but suddenly trails off as she sees smoke in the distance. "Fire!" She exclaims as she begins to run towards it. "Anna! Wait!" I shout as I run after her. Suddenly we go tumbling down the snowy hill and land in a lake at the bottom. Anna stands and tries to walk out of the water. "Cold, cold, cold, cold, cold, cold, cold, cold," She repeats as her dress is now frozen and she walks weirdly out of the water. "Cold!" I exclaim as I rush to get out of the water that is freezing. "Wait up, Anna!" I call out as I try to catch up to her to the best of my abilities.

Anna and I walk to the house up ahead of us, she climbs the step and knocks the snow off the sign above her. "Wandering Oaken's Trading Post" She reads off then notices a much smaller sign under it. "Ooh! And sauna," Anna exclaims in excitement. "This is kind of creepy, Anna," I voice out as I look at her in worry. "It'll be fine Y/n! Don't worry so much!" Anna tells me with a smile. We enter the building and a stranger calls out to us, we look to see a man sitting behind a counter. "Big summer blowout. Half-off swimming suits, clogs, and a sun balm of my own invention, yah?" He says with a smile on his face.

"Oh, great. For now, uh...how about boots? Winter boots and dresses?" Anna asks him, I keep quiet since this is very creepy to me. After Anna asks about boots he points to an area that is empty except for two outfits, two pairs of boots, a rope, and an axe. "That would be in our winter department," He says. I look in disappointment as I was expecting much more. We pick up the outfits, boots and takes them to the counter. "Oh. Um...I was just wondering, has a young man, the King perhaps, I don't know, passed through here?" Anna asks him as she places the stuff on the counter.

"Only one crazy enough to be out in this storm is you two, dear," The stranger says. Suddenly the front door opens and a man enters completely covered in ice. "You two and this fellow! Big summer blowout." The guy says as he greets the man covered in ice. The man walks to the counter and looks at Anna, and she backs up in fear. "Carrots," is all he says and Anna looks at him in confusion. "Huh?" She asks, he leans closer to her. "Behind you" is all he says and Anna moves away from the counter as she excuses herself. "A real howler in July, yes?" The man at the counter asks. The man covered in ice goes and picks up the rope and axe from the bare winter department. "Where ever could it be coming from?" The stranger asks attempting small talk. "The North Mountain," The man covered in ice says, not wanting to keep talking. I look at Anna who quietly mumbles to herself, "North Mountain."

The man covered in ice places the axe and rope on the counter next to the carrots. "That'll be forty." "Forty? No, ten." The man argues."Oh dear, that's no good. See this is from our winter stock, where supply and demand have a big problem," The guy at the counter says. I see the guy look out the window and notice a sled full of ice. "You wanna talk about a supply and demand problem? I sell ice for a living." Anna decides to butt in, "Ooh, that's a rough business to be in right now. I mean, that is really..." The ice guy gives her a cold look but Anna doesn't get the hint and counties her sentence. "Ahem...that's unfortunate," I facepalm and shake my head.

~Timeskip to Kristoff getting thrown out of the store~

Anna bought the stranger's stuff for him. I shake my head and we walk out the door after changing into our new outfits. We walk towards a barn and hear singing. Anna opens the barn door and enters making the guy and the reindeer sit up with a start. "Nice duet," She says as she hides the bags and I just stand off to the side. "Oh, it's just you two. What do you want?" He asks. "I want you to take us up the North Mountain," Anna demands as I sigh and shake my head. "Please take us up the North Mountain, stranger," I ask him. The guy lays back on the hay and puts his hat over his eyes. "I don't take people places.""Let me rephrase that..." Anna says as she throws a sack of supplies into his lap making him sit up. "Ooph!" He exclaims as the bag hits him, I laugh a little bit. "Take me up the North Mountain. Please," Anna asks him again, hoping he'll say yes. He opens the bag and finds the rope and axe he'd wanted to buy. "Look, we know how to stop this winter," Anna says in all seriousness. He sighs not believing her, he lays back down on the hay and puts his hat over his eyes. "It's true, she may look crazy but she's telling the truth," I say backing her up. "We leave at dawn...and you forgot the carrots for Sven," He says, and right after a bag containing the carrots hits him in the face. I burst out laughing. "Oops. Sorry. Sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't..." Anna says trying not to laugh, she clears her throat and catches herself. "We leave now. Right now," She demands.
