- Kids Arn't Alright (Fall Out Boy)_____
WHO INVITED THE DEADLY BIRDS?
ARYA WAS PROUD OF HERSELF. On top of dealing with all of her responsibilities she also took on Tyson with pride, unlike Percy who was trying to deny the fact that Tyson and him were actually brothers. Arya would scold him about it when she heard it, but she tried to do it when they were alone because she didn't want to embarrass him in front of his friends. She knew he was having a hard enough time as it was.
However, Arya rather liked the Cyclopes, and no one dared make fun of him around her because no one wanted to risk making her as mad as she had been during that first dinner. She liked having another sibling. She liked that Tyson, despite his size, was still a child in Cyclopes age and had the vocabulary and mind of one. Everything he learned and saw was new to him and she enjoyed it. It was nice to have someone around who didn't only see the evil in the world.
So, in the small amount of free time she had between making sure border patrol stayed strong, sparring lessons that she now taught, and her research she did on her own, she liked to talk to Tyson and answer all of his questions. She even participated in arts and crafts with him, which he wasn't particularly good at but seemed to have a good time doing it. It was safe to say that the Dryads that lead the arts and craft sessions were surprised to see Arya there. They hadn't seen her since she was young.
When Arya needed Tyson to not be around and Percy was unavailable to take him. Charles was more than happy to have him which Arya was more than grateful for.
Besides the children of Poseidon, Charles was the only one that seemed not to have a problem Tyson. With cyclops being the ones to work in forges and everything, Charles was thrilled to show him the Hephaestus cabin forge and teach him how to start making weapons, which Tyson liked. The cyclops felt that for once he was good at something and Arya would be more than happy to encourage him and let him show her what he learned from Charles.
Despite everything Arya had going on, she made sure to be there for Percy. She was there, in the air when Percy got his first Pegasus flying lesson. Arya quickly learned that Percy was much more adept to flying Pegusi than her. Not that Arya was bad, but riding the Pegusi wasn't her favorite thing. She liked to talk to them and ride them normally but she couldn't help but feel like she was out of her element in the air. It was hard to use a spear on the Pegusi back, and there was no water she could summon if she was too high. Whereas Percy was quite natural which he was loved to tease her about.
