The war was over. Everything had been quiet for the first few weeks following. The world seemed to need the moment of silence. But soon it had started to buzz again and so everything started to work like clockwork again. Right now Harry was riding the train away from hogwarts, his only true home. He was dreading the moment when the train would came to a stop. He still couldn't grasp the fact that Dumbledore had sent him back to the Dursley's for the summer. He found it so crazy that after all this madness, after so many years of torment, he sent him back to his abusive home. If it weren't for the fact that Dumbledore had swooped in and saved him when he was eleven he would have thought his family hated him for no reason all his life.

He sat in the compartment all alone. He wished he could spend his last hopeful moments with his two best friends but after the war the Weasly family had demanded the youngest son home immediately and poor Hermione arrived back at the castle with so many worrying letters from her parents she left soon after Ron did. So he sat all alone silently crying. Crying had become a regular thing for the boy after so many years of constant pain, emotional and mentally.

He was the only pupil on the train besides a few prefects. Of course none of the teachers that didn't live at hogwarts were on the train. The journey for repairing the castle for the next school year was a task that all teachers were forced to participate in. Harry had offered to stay and help but Dumbledore had declined.

Harry was always anxious. So jumpy that one time a teacher tapped his shoulder and he fell to the floor. In a heap he had gotten tangled in his robes and without thinking had drawn his wand. The teacher looked at him sympathetically before apologizing and walking away.

His mind was always on overdrive because his scar sent a constant burning through his for head. he would wake up with nightmares, screaming and in a cold sweat. He could never remember what the horrid dreams were about. The words "Mom, Dad!! I missed you!!" Constantly rang through his head. That's all he could recall from the dreams. Even now his scar was burning and he tensed up. He was always so tense. It didn't do his malnourished body any good. He was always aching. He could barely look at food sometimes. He had gotten better but he was still very far from a regular diet.

He was suddenly jarred from his thoughts at the sound of the fifteen minute warning. He heard the train Whistle and immediately wiped his tears. He knew seeing tears on his face would only provoke his aunt and uncle more. Dudley had moved out of the house last year so at least he didn't have to deal with him. He stroked Hedwig's feathers and sat down again. By the time the train stopped any trace of tears on his face was completely gone along with any hope he had left.

HIII! Did you enjoy the first chapter? I'm just letting you know now that both weasly twins are alive and well. As well as fumbledork (you'll need to remeber that name. It's what I use for Dumbledore) Anyways, I'll be uploading as soon as possible with the next chapter. For now I hope you liked it and are willing to stick with me!!
