"You know, Śeshu," the Lord of the Eternal Vaikunth Dham spoke, His omnipresent voice resonating, "this myth about Gods and Goddesses? That they would manifest on Earth during the longest nights of the year?"
"I'm sure I haven't heard of it." Anantha Śesha replied skeptically, "Is that something You just cooked up, Hari?"
"But a mere thought of mine can bring about the creation of several universes." Vishṇu stated, almost controlling His laughter.
Anantha stared, eyes narrowing slightly at Vishṇu, who draped Himself over a moss-covered boulder, an ankle crossed over the other, and a lazy hand supporting His head.
"Such a myth never existed," Anantha said, a small smile growing "but it exists now, doesn't it?"
"A myth that would be turned to reality," Vishṇu tilted his head with a wistful gaze turned far away towards the bright sparkle of the Milky Way
"Hmmm... so someone out there needs You now, don't they?" Anantha spoke softly, as he caught up to Vishṇu's line of thought.
"So Śeshu, my sweet boy," Hari winked, "tell me if I would look good in one of these modern garments the humans like to wear?"
"If You want to hear it from my countless forked tongues," Anantha grinned, " You, my Lord, would be absolutely stunning."
Vishṇu placed his hand on his chest in mock-surprise, a lopsided smile playing on His lips, "Śeshu, you flatter me!"
In the flash of a second, an ethereal burst of glittering energy shot out from the heart of The Lord of Universes and into the Cosmos, zipping through scores of galaxies, straight to Earth, the soul of Milky Way.
Watching the very manifestation of Hari taking shape as a shooting star to fulfil the hopes and dreams of mankind, Anantha's face lit up in a smile as the entire Vaikuntha resonated the words spoken nearly 5000 years ago:
