Chap-6
I jumped into my blue convertible and drove to Kay's place. I had to pick her up for school. Seemingly, Jake told her that he couldn't pick her up cause he had to drop his baby sister to school this week. Maybe that was true...
...but I knew better. We hadn't spoken to each other since Friday. And it was already Tuesday. Over the weekend, it was easy to avoid him, but in school it was very hard, specially with Kay around.
Another worry: I hadn't told Kay about the kiss. I didn't know why, but it seemed wrong. It wasn't like Kay and Jake were siblings, and I don't think they were dating each other. And I was pretty sure Jake wasn't dating anyone else. So why was it wrong to date Jake?
Simple: it wasn't wrong!
But my gut didn't agree. The stupid ass that it was, it still thought that liking/dating Jake was wrong. WHY?!
I reached Kay's place and texted her saying that I was here. As I waited, I thought of ways to tell her that I kissed Jake.
But no, that wasn't my decision alone. I had to talk to Jake.

The bell rung and the class cleared, leaving Mr. Murdoch, our history teacher, mid sentence.
I went out, heading towards the cafeteria. It was lunch time.
I was just going to enter the lunch hall, when someone with big, muscled arms grabbed my mouth and my waist and yanked me into the janitors closet.
One hand left my waist and turned on the light.
Phew, it was only Jake. For one second, I thought it was D-
My thoughts were interrupted, "Hey!"
"Seriously, hey? What do you want?" I was glad that I was being my normal self again.
"Youcanttellkayaboutthekiss" he blubbered. Far too fast for human understanding. Meh! Maybe I was the only one acting like myself
"Last time I checked, you spoke to me in English." I said.
"You can't tell Kay about the kiss." He said, slowly, sighing
"See? English isn't so hard to speak in."
"Shut up, prick!"
"You're the prick! Anyway, why can't Kay know?"
"She likes me"
"Look, I know you have a big head and all, but this is way too low, even for your ginormous head."
He shook his head, "No, I'm serious! Okay, let's make a deal, you ask her, if she denies, we both go and tell her everything, if she doesn't...." He seemed to have run out of words.
"...then we end this, wordlessly." I said, and he reluctantly nodded.
I reached out for the door handle, but a pair of hands grabbed me, yet again. My back landed against Jake's rock hard abs and I internally sighed at our body contact.
"What do you mean by 'this'" his grip had loosened enough, so I turned towards him. Maybe, he'd regained his charm.
His eyes were mischievous. And I don't know what had gotten into me, but I was feeling lose and careless today.
Our lips were inches apart and I closed the distance between them, after what seemed like a pregnant century.
The kiss wasn't passionate like the last one. This was deeper, hungrier. His arms were round my waist in no time. And soon enough, he was picking me up and landing my ass on a small table there, slowly leaving my lips and heading down my neck, leaving a trail of kisses there. Then a little sting on my neck caused my head to tilt back. His teeth sucked my neck like a vamp. I grabbed his hair and pushed him closer to me.
But sadly, though, the bell rang then, signifying the end of lunch period. I sulked, as Jake moved away. My stomach growled. I got off the table and picked up my bag.
Jake stood there for a while and then said, "That was loud! Want to go grab a burger?"
There was a Mc Donald's across the school. So we could eat there and get back in time for next period.
I nodded, allowing him to lead the way.
We ordered take out and ate in the cafe next to Mc D., where the AC was working.
When we were done, we headed back to school.
"I'm not in the mood for studying right now." Jake said
"Nor am I" I replied, I really didn't want to attend maths
"Let's go to the beach!" He said., heading towards the parking lot.
"Okay!"
We went to the beach and soaked in the sun while talking about stuff.
"So how's Dylan?" Jake asked, suddenly "You spoken to him, recently?"
"No, not really." I said, not wanting to think about Dylan. He was my mothers younger brother. He stayed with us, that was, before he graduated and got admission in Princeton, far from home. I couldn't lie, I was glad he'd left. He was overly possessive, a dousche, a bad-ass playboy, and an extremely high tempered brat. I didn't hate him in particular, but he wasn't my favorite person, and I couldn't trust him, at all. And he never came home sober. My mother put up with all his shit only because he'd been orphaned when he was 10, (my mother was 27 at the time, and I was 6) and also because, in the end of the day, he was family, and none of his stupidity affected his grades. Otherwise, he'd be begging on a road by now.
Anyway, I only had a problem with him because he would always play stupid pranks on me. He'd drench me in public, humiliate me in front of everyone, break me up with all my boyfriends, basically, just try to control my life, like the control freak he was.
Jakes finger on my face made me snap out of my thoughts.
"You okay?" He asked
"Yeah..." I replied
"Really? Cause I-"
Jake was cut off by a mans voice from behind me, a voice I knew very well "...don't think so. You're still the same old fool, Jake. You just don't get that women's feelings cant be understood."
"What are you doing here, Dylan?" I said, shocked. Why was he here? Didn't he have college?
Oh, right. College has holidays for 2 Weeks now.
Which means-I'm frickin doomed!
