Chapter 3

"Baby , wake up. You're gonna be late for school." Selene's mom was outside Selene's room.

"Baby ?" Ito na ang  pang tatlong beses na pagkatok neto sa pinto ng kwarto ni Selene.

"Selene , baby. I'm gonna go inside." sabay pasok neto sa kwarto ng kanyang monica hija.

"Baby..."

Selene seems to be just sleeping. Her mom turned on the lights and opened the window. She then walk towards her sleeping child. Umupo siya sa kama neto at marahan na hinimas ang buhok neto.

"Baby , wake up.." she whispered gently to her child's ear.

"Selene anak , you gotta get up. May meeting ako today so I need to go early."

Hindi kumibo si Selene.

Her mom sighed.

"Okay baby , I'll give you 45 minutes. Get ready for school now." she kissed Selene's forehead and smiled. She then walked outside and closed the door. She has no idea what's going on with her sweet child.

His ocean blue eyes is so.. ravishing.

I am totally speechless. He looked at me. No , he's staring at me ! He's not moving his ocean blue eyes away from me ! Oh god , he's so handsome. S-should I say hi ? NO , SELENE ! You're here to find the guardian of moon ! Behave  girl , BEHAVE !

"Can I help you with something  , beautiful lady ?"

Oh , he speaks ! His voice is so goddamn deep.

I don't know what to say. "Wanna dance ?" I said out of nowhere

Suminghal siya. "I don't dance."

What ?

Did I just got rejected ? For real ?!

"Really ? How come ?" I tried to sound like his rejection wasn't a big deal but it is ! No guy would dare to reject me ! NO GUY !

"I just don't." usal niya at tumugtog ulit. The way he close his eyes as he plays the flute is so romantic and appealing.

Oh , those bloody red lips that matches his ocean blue eyes.

"You play good. Are you a musician ?" tanong ko. He didn't answer me. I was left embarrased. How rude. I rolled my eyes. Mabuti pa at hanapin ko nalang yung lalaking pakay ko dito. I was about to take a step ng bigla siyang nagsalita.

"Wanna drink , my lady ?" he said with a playful tone. Oh, shocks.

"SO ,  what is your family name ?" usal niya.

He was the only one drinking. Akala ko kasi may wine sila dito but no , their beers here doesn't even suit my taste. I'm not used in this kind of drinks. It seems cheap.

" Alvar. " I smiled. I can't stop but stare at him. Mamaya ko na hahanapin yung lalake , let me talk with this handsome stranger first.
