"What!?" Edd exclaimed. "Are you crazy!?" Tom turned to look at him. "It's just what I have to do." He said. "Besides, it'll be an easy trip in and out since you guys are "supposidly missing from the base" anyway." Edd sighed. "I guess so." He mumbled. Ell put a hand on his shoulder and gave him a comforting look. "Okay but what're you gonna do once you're inside?" Matt asked. "Listen in, duh." Tom answered. Tamara shook her head. "You need a better way of getting information to us." She stated. Tom turned to her. "Then teach me how to do that thing you did." He said.
"I can't."
"Why?"
"You're not..ready yet."
"I am. I need to get there quick before they plot anything else."
"If your brain explodes, don't blame me."
Everyone went silent and Tamara shrugged. "What?" She asked. Edd shook his head. "Hey." Ell said. Edd turned to face her. "Hmm?" He hummed.
"Why are you so bummed about Tom?"
"Because-Well, I just got him back and, he's like a brother to me. I don't wanna risk it again.."
"It's okay Edd. He's done it before, he'll do it again. I promise."
Edd sighed. "I know but," he started, "It'll put his life at risk again. It scared me the first time I can't-I can't go through that again." Ell checked her watch then looked back at Edd. "Edd listen to me." She instructed. "If you don't give Tom a chance up there, all of our lives would be at risk. Especially you and Matt's because y'all are already refugees from that base. You've gotta let him go." Edd looked away. "If something goes wrong then we'll go in a'ight?" Ell assured him. Edd nodded. "Yeah. Thanks Ell." He said, smiling a little. Ell smiled as well and nodded."So you are me from another universe?" Tord asked. He and the woman were sitting in his office. The woman nodded. "Okay what is my full name?" Tord asked. "Victor." The woman said. Tord nodded. "What is your name anyway?" He asked again. "Victoria." The woman answered. "But you can call me Tori." Tord nodded. "So why are you here? Is there anything of interest?" He asked. "Yes actually." Tori answered. "Your army." Tord stood up. "Excuse me?!" He exclaimed. Tori shook her head. "I mean our armies." She corrected. "I take to notice that there are a few countries you have not yet to take into your grasp." Tord nodded and Tori went on. "Well you see, I have an army of my own. We could team up and conquer the world. If you are willing." Tord nodded slowly. "Yes.." He mumbled. "If we merge our strengths in weapons and combat together who knows what would..of course.." Tord chuckled sinisterly and turned to face Tori. "My, well you might have yourself a deal." He said. Tori smiled. "Wait. Might?" She asked. Tord nodded. "I need something of yours first." He answered.
"What? What is it?"
"Your help."
"With what man!?"
"Patience. Anyway, I lost an..assistant, if you could say that. My best, in fact. I need you to take the army and search until the ends of the woods to find him. When you do, I will take up on your offer."
"..."
Tori thought for a second. "Do you feel something for this man?" She asked. Tord paused and blushed a little. He shook the thought from his head. "No!" He exclaimed. "O-Of course not, he is an...aquired asset to my success." Tori smirked and nodded. "I will take the army then, if we have a deal." She said. Tord nodded and extended his hand. Tori smiled a bit as she took his hand and they shook on it."It's a deal."
