Party at Josh's

I woke up with the biggest headache of my life, and when I opened my eyes all I could see was him. Is he really here? Or did I just died and went to heaven?

"Noah?! Are you ok?" He looked actually worried

"What happened? Where am I?"

"Right now you're in the infirmary. During the game you took a ball to the head and you immediately fell to ground. You were lucky, Josh brought you to my office really quick."

"Josh brought me here?" I was really surprised about what the nurse was telling me."What about the game?? I know it wasn't over"

"I left the game, but don't worry about it. It was more important bringing you here than playing the game."

"NOAH?! Are you finally awake? OMG I was worried sick" Any had entered the nurse's office running towards me. I was really happy that she was here. A few seconds later Scarlett showed up. Of course she came, after all, Josh was here. She didn't even asked how I was doing.

"Are you nuts??" Scarlett was talking to Josh "You left the game, almost causing the team to lose. What were you thinking?!" I couldn't believe what I was hearing, and by the look on Josh's face neither could he.

"I WAS THINKING I NEEDED TO HELP HIM" He was screaming at her face "ARE YOU SERIOUSLY PUTTING A GAME IN FRONT OF YOUR SO CALLED FRIEND? I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY NOAH HANGS OUT WITH YOU" There was anger in his voice.

After what Josh said, she just left. Leaving us to think about what just happened there. Josh was right, I shouldn't hang out with her anymore. But in the back of mind I knew she wouldn't leave me alone without causing damage.

"Are you ok? I really meant what I said about you still hanging out with her" He looked really concerned.

"I don't know... It's not like I didn't know her true intentions, she just wanted to get popular. I guess I didn't have the guts to cut her off" I sounded sad, even though I never really cared for her.

"So... Tomorrow night my parents aren't going to be home and I'm throwing a party. You guys should go. It'll cheer you up."

I instantly felt my face turning bright red, but I managed to say yes before turning away from him,  so he couldn't see it.

"Ok, you'll have the time of your life. Just give me your phone number so i can text you the address and the time of the party."

"I... I... I don't have my phone with me and I don't know my number" I was stuttering really bad, I WAS REALLY NERVOUS.

"I'll give it to you, no problem" Any took Josh's phone from his hand and typed the number in. She really saved me, that way he would talk to her and not me.

When Josh left the room, Any looked at me and started to laugh non-stop. I was confused, totally missing the point of the joke

"Why are you laughing?"

She managed to stop laughing and finally answered the question.

"I guess there's no way you can get any more red right?" She started laughing again, barely being able to breath.

"It's not funny!!" I was low key upset.

"It's not funny for you" She continued laughing.

I eventually gave up, and laughed with her.

Suddenly we hear someone at the door. It was the nurse. She told me that my parents had arrived to take me home. I got ready and went to meet with my parents at the parking lot. Any went home and so did I.
