Prologue.
Even though her legs are weakened she keeps running for her precious life. Her left leg is bleeding with no mercy, but she doesn’t get distracted to run through the deserted unfamiliar venue and reach safety. Her ears are whooshing from the gunshot sound, she picks up her pace immediately. In a split second, she loses hope and her heart drops to the pit of her stomach when she realizes that her third escape plan is failing just like the rest and all she can see is nothing but white spots in her vision.
She is trying to scream for help, but no word is coming out of her mouth, this is when she is dragged to unconsciousness when one of the men who were after her wrapped their arm around her jaw and placed an intoxicated cloth and smothered her. After what felt like years of sleep, she finally wakes up. Slowly she unshuts her eyes and immediately darkness welcomes her vision. She is moving but her whole body is numb and stiff since she has been laying on the cemented floor for a long period, she lets out a wince through the bandana on her mouth when she feels a penetrating pain in her left leg. She turns her painful head to both her sides attempting to visualize her whereabouts, but she hardly sees anything.
Not knowing where she is being locked up, brings anxiety and nausea to her, suddenly an image comes to her mind, seeing both her parents being killed right in front of her eyes and she couldn’t do anything to help them up, really that is making her feel ineffective. clearing her eyes as she tries to get it together, but it isn’t easy, and she is losing it again.
She starts sobbing, it has been a week since her parents have been killed in front of her, but she never stopped crying over them, she wouldn’t, not with the visions she gets almost every time she closes her eyes attempting to sleep, her parents meant the world to her, just like to any child. “it was my fault you’re dead, I should have helped you” she mentally blames herself, she sobs in the dark and cold room. She raises her head and whirled it to the sound of movement, sounds like someone has keys on them. She is heaving out of fear as she realizes that someone is indeed opening the door to her darkroom. She can’t move anywhere due to the chains around her ankles and wrists.
The door opens and closes again as the bright light comes to view, she squints her gaze to adjust the piercing light to her eyes, swiftly she fully opens them up again when a husky voice speaks. “you’re up already?” the man in black speaks with horror in his voice. She looks up at him and she gets to examine his features, he’s wearing a black bulky jean hanging on his biker boots and a black thick leather jacket as he wears a mask on his face which only reveals his blue ocean eyes through the holes and his pink lips, through the hole by the mouth view.
He stares down at her with fury in his eyes, freighting her when he realizes that she is not answering his question. But then he turns around as he keeps himself busy with whatever, his broad back is facing her. “I usually don’t take it lightly when given the silent treatment” he exclaims but she muffles words through the cloth wrapped between her lips, He smirks under his black musk, even though she can’t see him, and then turns to face her once again.
She looks around but him, she notices that there is one window behind a grey looking curtain on her far-left side as she is now on a sitting position on the floor, leaning her back on the wall behind her. Surprisingly the room isn’t as scary as she thought it would be unlike the previous one, and it’s as empty as her stomach which is groaning due to famishment, Chipped paint on the walls this room has no life on it. he bends down to be at the same level as she is, on the floor. She arched her body backward when he tries to trace her bare shoulders, but she is failing because the wall behind her is blocking her from moving any further, which makes him succeed in touching her with his big hands which are under the hand glove, also black.
