Dynamite Debut and A Move-In

When I got Jacksonville, I immediately hated how humid it was. Took a shower on Friday, Tuesday: still not dry.

I gotta have a talk with Cody about future AEW: Dynamite shows in Florida that include me.

But when I got to the arena, I was surprised by how nice the people were, until I met Kip Sabian and he bumped into me, snickering.

Kip: Oops.

I turned around and he did too.

Me: The hell is your problem?

Kip: Mine? Oh no, lad. I think you're in the wrong company. You should go to the other one, they bury pieces of shit like you.

I chuckled and then got in his face with a grin.

Me: Do you really think I'm an idiota? Unlike your fake bimbo you have the balls to insult me. I'm making my debut tonight, and I'm gonna go after your ass. Take this as a piece of advice.

I walked away, hoping I taught him a lesson, but he still talked back.

Kip: You call my girl fake, what about your old man? Oh yeah? He's dead!

I was berated by that and I got in his face again.

Me: Talk about my father one more time and you're getting whacked, and I'm not talking about the move. I'm talking about actual murder.

Kip: Yeah? We'll see.

He walked away laughing with his bimbo. I heard that she's going to challenge Shida for her title tonight, so I have to stay in gorilla in case something bad happens.

I'm down by the babyface entranceway and she was coming in her gear. I was interested in why she would wear something like that to the ring, until I learned her actual gear is underneath.

Hikaru: Marc, why are you by the entranceway?

Me: I heard about your match so I wanted to keep an eye out in case some bad things happen.

Hikaru: Oh, you're sweet. Anyway, if anything happens, you'll back me up, right?

Me: Of course. Why wouldn't I?

She smiled and had a shade of pink on her cheeks.

Hikaru: My match is next.

Me: Good luck.

She entered and while Shida went to the ring, her opponent and her boyfriend got in her face. She punched Ford, but got shoved to the ground by Kip, making her burst in tears.

I knew something like this would happen. I didn't want my music playing and I came out of the curtain, and a huge pop was made while I had a pissed off look in my eyes. Kip was stunned as I made my way to the ring and got in his face.

Me: You wanna hit girls? How about you hit me instead!

That got a ton of support from the crowd as I tended to Hikaru.

Me: You okay?

Shida: Yeah, I'm fine.

Me: Can you stand?

I helped her up and she gave me a hug. It was awkward, but I hugged her back to make it seem like we're friends in real life, even though we just met. I eventually went out of the ring and stayed at ringside, just for precaution.

The match began with a brawl, until Shida hit her Falcon Arrow early, but Ford kicked out at 2. She was irate, but she calmed down.

Hikaru was going for another one until Kip distracted her. That was when I had enough. I pulled him down from the apron and gave him the Mafia Hit headbutt. That knocked him on his ass right there, making Penelope Ford yell at me until Hikaru gave her another Falcon Arrow for the win.
