(The date) (Melindas p.o.v.)

We just got into the car which Peter opened my door for me. He is such a nice guy I'm truly lucky to have him in my life. The car ride has been really quiet so i decided to speak up.

Melinda ~ so Peter, would you mind telling me where we are going?

Peter ~ no i think ill let it be a surprise

Ugh why does it have to be a surprise, i rolled my eyes while he just smiles at me and then the next thing i know is I'm smiling with him

Melinda ~ if your not gonna tell me where we are going then at least tell me how much longer its gonna be till we get there

Peter ~ fine, its about 10 more minutes

Melinda ~ okay.

It then got quiet again so i turned on the radio and it just happened to be a song i know so i decided to sing i knew Peter wouldn't mind i mean i do it all the time. Soon after the song was over i looked over to see Peter smiling at me. Not long after we pulled up to an open field with a small pond. I then looked over and saw that they was a blanket laying on the ground with a picnic basket. It was the most beautiful weather out and he knew i didn't like anything real fancy.

Melinda ~ Peter, its beautiful

Peter ~ I knew you'd like it.

(Melinda and Peter then talked for a couple hours before taking her home)

(Klaus's p.o.v.)

It's almost time she should be here soon assuming he brings her back on time. It's currently 8:45 so he's got less then 15 minutes if he's gonna bring her back before 9

Joy ~ klaus you know you dont have to wait by the door. He will bring her back before 9 and safely.

Klaus ~ i hope your right, cause if she comes home a second late she's grounded and she will never go out with him again. And if there is a single scratch on her——

Rebekah ~ look who's going full dad mode

Klaus ~ Rebekah, i am her dad and i would like to make sure she's okay.

Joy ~Klaus she's fine.

then we all heard a car pull up

Joy ~ see that's probably her right now.

Klaus ~ better be.

(Melinda p.o.v.)

Melinda ~ thanks this afternoon was amazing

Peter ~ no problem. Maybe we could do it again just as you as my girlfriend?

Melinda ~ of coarse i would love to do it again and i would love to be your girlfriend.

Peter ~ okay ill text ya when and the time. But one more question?

Melinda ~ okay what's the question?

Peter ~ would it be okay if i kissed you?

Melinda ~ yes it would be okay

The next thing i know is we were standing on the porch and we were both leaning in and then our lips met it was the most amazing feeling ever. I didnt even hear the front door open till i heard my dad clear his throat and then me and Peter both pulled away blushing. Half because we just made it official and half cause we got caught in the act in front of my dad.

Peter ~ i um should get um going. See you tomorrow at school M

Melinda ~ okay bye Peter

Klaus ~wait Peter before you go I'd like to say thanks for bringing her home on time and unharmed

Peter ~ no problem sir, i uh, mean Klaus

(With that Peter left)

After Peter left i went inside and told everyone i was gonna go up to get ready for bed. I was sitting on my bed when i heard people walking into my room from the door me and N shared. It was my aunt Rebekah and Hope and Nikol

Melinda ~ I'm assuming you want the details?

They only shook their heads up and down

Melinda ~ well if you must know he took me out to an open field with a small pond where he had a blanket on the ground with a picnic basket. And then the more important part is he asked me to be his girlfriend today!!!!!

Nikol ~ told you and when am i ever wrong?

Melinda ~ like hardly ever

The girls then left my room to go to bed i had already said good night to everyone but i was half asleep when i heard my door open i just thought it was mom checking on me or something but Was surprised when my father kissed my head and said

Klaus ~ goodnight my little one, i love you

(Klaus also went to Nikol and did the same)
