Chapter 2

The girl was strapped onto a hospital bed despite her kicking and screaming trying to get out. She was being wheeled down a hallway to receive something.

"Please. I never wanted this" She said through tears. "I'll do anything you want me to do but please stop."

The women beside knelt down and whispered in her ear.

"What I want you to do is stay quite during this procedure. I don't like noise and you won't be given any anaesthetic or be put to sleep. Good luck." The women said a sickening evil smile creeping up on her face.

You could hear the girls cry's and screams from the other end of the facility but no one seemed to take notice. Since it happened almost every day.

Aaliyah like the day before jolted awake in a sweat but this time she was laying down on a QuinnJet bench. "Hey Aaliyah you okay." Maria said from the pilot's seat.

"No Maria I'm not." Aaliyah said quite bluntly.

"Is it nightmares again?" Maria asked.

"I have them every time I go to sleep and I can't speak about them because it hurts to." Aaliyah ranted.

"Aaliyah you don't have to act like a cold hearted warrior all the time..."

"So before I was stone cold now i'm cold hearted why does everyone think i'm such a cold bitch." She said in fury even though she knew that wasn't what Maria meant.

"Are you gonna let me speak?" Maria said in annoyance. Aaliyah hesitated for a moment not really wanting to talk about them anymore but finally said yes.

"Fine carry on." She said.

"I was saying you don't have to be that way all the time. It's better if you share your emotions. Especially to someone like Nat you have similar life experience and that's not something you would usually find in your situation." Maria finished.

"I would love to tell tasha about it because maybe it means my nightmares would go away but I don't want to give her any memories from that time back. It's hard enough for the both of us it's only been 8 years since I got to S.H.I.E.L.D and Nat's only been here a short amount of time longer then me. She doesn't deserve to have them back. But maybe I still do. Or maybe the universe just still hates me because of what I've done." Aaliyah said continuing to make valid points on her behalf all to the annoyance of Maria. Knowing Aaliyah had finally shut Maria up she sat back down on the bench and waited for them to land on the hela carrier. Not soon after they had done so and as for that moment the two where the highest level agents on the hele carrier they commanded it until Fury arrived. Not long after Maria and Aaliyah had done so Fury arrived having already gotten Steve Rogers onto a other QuinnJet.

"Director Fury everything is set to take of soon." Maria said as she approached him.

"Good we'll set of once the others have arrived. Agent Federov please go outside and wait for Agent Romonoff." Fury said to which Aaliyah nodded and went outside to the landing platform. Sure enough a few minutes later two QuinnJets had landed one with Natasha and Bruce banner in the other with Phil and Steve Rogers. The four got out of there jets not seeing Aaliyah yet.

"Agent Romonoff - Captain Rogers." Phil said introducing Steve to Natasha.

"And Agent Federov or am I invisible to everyone cause that's very likely considering what else I can do." Aaliyah said making them all turn their heads to her and Natasha and Phil smile.

"What's the matter with you?" Natasha said.

"Your a spy tasha and you can't figure out what's the matter with me. God." She said earning a death stare from Natasha. "And also a norse god and Maria both called me a bitch in the last day so I'm trying to live up to the name." Aaliyah finished finally explaining herself. Natasha smiled in amusement before turning to Phil.
