Friday night

1am

Hazel pov

" No ,no Hazel no please don't leave me "   a voice said  , I opened my eyes to see Alex sleeping next to me.... he looks like he was  having a nightmare  ,but why is my name involved in his dream ?.

"No no please no ".  He continue shouting , I have to wake him else he will wake all the neighbors ?

" Alex wake up "    I said shaking him slowly ...

" Hazel , Hazel don't leave me "   Alex said holding my hands ...

"I'm not going anywhere Alex , wake up ,I'm here ".  I said tapping his checks , he was sweating and shaking ..

"Alex wake up !!!"  I shouted slapping him hard , he opened his eyes suddenly and sat up right ..

" I'm sorry I did not mean to slap you but you where scaring me "   I explained

" It okay ,I just had a nightmare ".    Alex replied then stood up from the bed to drink water ...

"Want to talk about it ?"    I asked ,he just shook his head

" Go back to sleep "    he said then walked out

5min later

I rolled around the bed , I could not sleep but why , I don't care about Alex , I'm only here for my parent

"But where is he? , is he asleep already? , is he alright ? "     Where the questions running through my mind , I stood up from the bed and turned towards the door , I opened the door slowly and tip toe out , I walked toward the kitchen silently but he was not there , I was about stepping out when the light suddenly switched on by themselves

"Do you need something ?"    Alex voice came from behind me , I turned slowly , I can't tell him I came to look for him , what do I do ?

" Are you okay ?"  He asked again

" Yes " I shouted , I felt weird so I adjusted my voice

" I mean yes, I am okay , I just came to get s......" I said looking around the kitchen my eyes finally fell on a watermelon on the kitchen cabinets

" I just came to get sone watermelon "    I said pointing at the watermelon on the kitchen counter

" Okay , sit I will cut some for you "  he said ,he had no expression on his face he wasn't smiling what is going on in that head of his ?

" Here "   he said  passing me the watermelon , which he just cut into half

" Spoon ".  I said pointing at the spoon rack , he passed me the spoon and was about to leave

" Wait " I said , he stopped and turned to me

" Eat with me "    I instructed after much thinking he sat next to me  , then we started eating the watermelon

" Are you Okay ?"   I asked , he did not reply he just nodded his head

" Alex  listen  , I can't promise you a love relationship but one thing I can promise you is that I will never leave you  , I don't know the dream you had that is making you worried or act this way but just know that I will never leave you "    I narrated

"Thank you "   he said with a little smile

" Your welcome , so how about we start our relationship as friend who knows love might find his way in ".  I said. , I can't believe I spat that shit out.  I can never love this guy he took advantage of me

" Sure , sounds good " he said then stuffed some watermelon in his mouth
