Ellie Patterson was a 14 year old girl. She danced she sang and she loved to hang out with her friends. But her life at home wasn't the best. 

25 years ago her brother Luke died before playing the biggest gig of a life time. Before he died he wasn't on the best terms with his mom and he never got to apologize. For the next 11 years his parents Emily and Mitch were a train wreck.

 They never touched his room and they would cry every night. They finally decided to move on and maybe have another kid to ease the pain just a bit. 

So months later the had Ellie, a baby girl who looked just like her brother Luke. Years past and Ellie would act more and more like Luke, she sang just like Luke, and she acted just like Luke.

Now everything seemed great but in reality they weren't! Every since Luke died Ellie's parents became more strict and aware of the world and its dangers. Ellie's parents would never talk about Luke and how he ran away. They never told Ellie how he died or much about him. The only thing she knew was what he looked like from pictures throughout the house. 

They would celebrate his birthday every year but Ellie didn't feel the nerve attending the little celebration. 

Every time anyone would ask if they had any other kids her parents would say no, she never knew why, so she always thought it was for her protection. Her parents were so strict but she could never figure out why because they never told her anything but she was going to find out! 

Years past and Ellie felt invisible. The parents would never get over Luke.
