Ginger bread games

"Ah!" Kirishima squeaked as his poor ginger man crumbled to pieces on the flat surface of the table and his ash blonde boyfriend claimed victory.

It was childish to basically go to war with holiday themed cookies but neither of them really cared and afterwords they would eat all the pieces anyway so it wasn't like they were wasting anything.

Bakugo dipped a piece of the ginger breads leg into milk and chomped it happily. He would never be this calm or smile this much around anyone else...he just couldn't help it when he was with Kirishima. "Alright shitty hair what do you want to do now? We can't open gifts till all the other extras are here so.."

The red head took a drink of his hot coco while he thought up different ideas to keep them busy. "Why don't we build the ginger bread house? We ate all the people but building the little place might be fun. Just don't break anything okay?"

Bakugo raised a eyebrow knowing full well that he broke almost everything he touched and that Momo had only gotten one house that no body wanted to make. He had never attempted to build one before and honestly was worried because it seemed like a fun idea but with no one actually wanting to try it...how difficult could it be?

Kirishima hopped up, humming a Christmas song quietly as he retrieved the box that showed a beautiful ginger bread house lined with candy and held up with frosting. Would it really look like that after they were done with it?

"Alright so first we have to put the pieces together with the white frosting." The smaller male explained with a wide smile on his face as he opened the box and set the parts down on the crumb covered table.

Bakugo nodded and started to open things. He squished the white frosting around in his hands trying to melt it as best he could, though it didn't do much and in the end putting it in the piping bag was still a difficult task that required a lot of "taste testing".

Kirishima on the other hand attempted to hold everything up and figure out what went where. In the end they assumed they were missing a piece but could live with out it so they started to build the little home...

"This is a fucking disaster..." Bakugo said under his breath as he looked at the utter abomination they had made. The candy wasn't even added yet and it looked like children had tried to make it but the piping bag exploded. Which it had but we won't discuss the cuss words that ensued shortly after.

"Uhhh maybe it just needs the decorations! Come on don't give up so easily Bakubabe!" Kirishima tried, showing off his sharp teeth in a worried grin as he started to place peppermints and other candies everywhere doing his best to make it look as cute as possible.

In total it took them two hours to make the monster house and by then they were both ready to give up. The houses candy was dripping off cause it had gotten to hot and the mess they had made before adding the decor seemed to be even more noticeable.

"Maybe we should buy a new one?"

"... actually I have a idea Kiri get me the black icing out of the cupboard...please." Bakugo grimaced at having to be polite but he was working on it to make his boyfriend happy. He had a idea and he was gonna do his best to make it work.

After yet another hour passed making it three hours they had worked on the simple treat, it was finally done for good. This time though...from what seemed like a Christmas miracle...it actually didn't look half bad.

The ash blonde had made it into a house for Krampus making it creepy and have little hidden parts that showed how evil he was. It looked cool and like all the billions of mistakes were just part of the plan.

Kirishima leaned against Bakugo, his head resting on the other males shoulder as they stared at their creation. "I think this is the most time we have ever spent working together on something. I had a lot of fun. Even with all the ups and downs."

"Yeah I...did too."
