Solo or Together? [L.S coming out short story]

4 - Jealousy

A/N can I just say how much I love Gigi? She's beautiful and talented and so so good for Zayn, I love Ziam but Zigi is so beautiful and I'm sure their daughter is wonderful too but she won't be in this story.

*Liam's Pov* 

----------------------------

I hesitated slightly before knocking on the door of Zayn's apartment, wanting to make amends before any sort of reunion talk happened. I heard some noises and footsteps before the door was swung open and there stood Zayn, looking breath-taking as always in black skinny jeans and a white tank top. 

We looked at each other for a moment before Zayn cleared his throat, "Hi Liam, want to come in?" he asked, stepping back. 

I nodded, smiling sheepishly as I entered the luxurious apartment. 

"Want anything?" Zayn turned to me and he made his way over to the kitchen. 

"Just water please" I replied, taking a deep breath and following him, happy just to be in his company after so long. 

"So what did you want to talk about...you know?" he asked, handing me the water before awkwardly looking around the room, not meeting my eyes. 

"Yeah, look Zayn I'm sorry about how it all ended- I just really hope it won't be awkward if the band reunites ya know? I've really missed you Zayn..." I whisper the last part, shuffling my feet as I inspect them.

 He lifts my chin with his hand, making it so I'm looking at him, causing butterflies to erupt in my stomach as our eyes meet. My usual tough, responsible demeanour disappearing replaced with my old smitten feelings. 

"Look I'm sorry too, the way we ended things was messy but that's as much my fault as yours and I-I've missed you too Liam...lets just start new ok? The past is the past" 

He sends me one of his award winning smiled and I pull him into a hug, signing contently, having missed the feeling of his arms around me just as much as his lips. I rest my head on his, him slightly cuddling into me, us both getting caught in the moment before a loud, fake cough interrupts us.

Zayn's Pov

The feeling of Liam's strong arms around me is quickly gone as a loud cough cause us to break the trance, pulling away quickly as we both look up to see Gigi standing in the door way of the kitchen. 

"Hi baby" I murmur, leaving Liam's side to walk over and peck her lips, noticing Liam's frown. 'I really hope he still doesn't have feelings for me' I think to my self 'that would make things complicated and what we had is in the past.'

"I see you too made up" She comments, raising an eye brow and smiling. "Yeah its good we're friends again" I smile at Liam, who gives me and Gigi a small smile back. 

"Anyway, Liam, this is Gigi, my beautiful girlfriend" I introduce them to each other, looking down at her with love in my eyes. 

"Hi I'm Liam" He seems to shake his head before holding out a hand for her to shake. "So good to meet you, I've heard quite a bit about you, mostly good things though don't worry" 

Liam chuckles, "Well it was lovely meeting you Gigi, I'll talk to you later ok Zayn?" He waves at us both before leaving through the door.  

I waved to him, feeling a weird feeling in my stomach but pushed it away as it was replaced by happiness as me and Gigi cuddled on the couch, putting on a movie to watch together.
