Trolls: Forgotten King

Chapter 8

Barb woke up and was extremely nervous about the day. The Trolls came into the room she was in and Poppy sat beside her

"Good luck Sugar. You're so close to you father." Holly said

"Yeah. You'll be with you dad really soon. I can feel it." Branch said

Poppy hugged Barb

"You can do this Barb. No matter what just know that you're strong. We'll be there right behind you." Poppy said

Barb smiled and looked at them

"Yeah, thanks guys. We'll be on our way home soon." Barb said, leaving the room

Poppy, Holly, and Branch watched her leave till Branch finally spoke

"10 bucks she'll fail." He said

"BRANCH!!!" Holly and Poppy yelled

Barb entered the room and sat on a chair that was in the middle of it. The siblings weren't visible till Barb saw them in another room

"Ok we're gonna start now." The brother said

"Hurry on with it!" Barb told him

"Yikes. An impatient one. Ok uhh do you have a mother?" The brother asked

"Not that I know of." Barb answered

"Do you care for your friends?" He asked

"Of course I do." Barb said

Barb looked at him

"These questions are kind of dumb. You said they were "personal." Barb told him

"Then that brings us to our final question. How much do you care for your father." He asked

Barb felt something stuck in her throat as she began to cry. She tried to hold it in but it just poured out

"I-I'm scared to lose him. I don't want him to leave me. I don't want to be alone." Barb said between sobs

The brother came into the room and over to Barb

"Your tears are genuine. You've been totally honest." The brother said

The brother then lead Barb to where the memories were

They arrived in the room the memories were in. Barb gently took them. She was so relieved. Suddenly a screech was heard. The siblings looked at each other horrified

The Fearsome Beast was attacking. The sister lead the Trolls to the exit as she was suddenly grabbed. Which triggered a memory from Barb

A young Barb, around 10, was on stage with Thrash when he was still king. Barb almost fell off the stage. Thrash caught her just in time before she fell in the lava

Barb clinged onto her dad and shook in fear. Thrash smiled and comforted her

"It's alright Barbara. It was just an oops. Now let's try again." Thrash said, putting her down

Barb looked at her the creature than at her friends

"We gotta help them." Barb said

"Wow! You wanting to help someone? That's a surprise." Branch said

"SHUSH!! OR I'LL FEED YOU TO IT!!" Barb threatened

Branch took a step back

The Trolls fought the creature till it finally let the sister go. The Trolls sighed well till the creature grabbed Barb. Poppy used her hair to get on its back

Poppy covered the creatures eyes with her hair

"Oh you messed with the wrong Troll to have for breakfast." Barb said

Barb took her guitar out of who knows where and whacked the creature with it as it crash landed. Poppy and Barb fell on the ground. Poppy hurt her leg

Barb ran to help Poppy. Suddenly Barb got a cut across her arm. Barb yelled at the creature.

The creature stopped and landed in front of Barb. The two stared at each other

"You're gonna go to a cave and you're gonna stay there!" Barb commanded

The creature obeyed and left

The siblings came out from the bushes and went to the Trolls

"Thanks for chasing it off." The brother said

"Yeah it was nothing. I'd protect my friends from anything that would try to hurt them." Barb said

"Awwww! That's so sweet." Poppy and Holly said

"Ew! No!" Barb said

"You deserve to have your father remember you. I'm sure you both had good times together. We'll take you home after we treat that wound of yours." The sister said

"Yeah! And if you Trolls want we can have lunch together and you can have leftovers on your way home." The brother said

Branch looked at the Trolls then at the sprites

"That's sounds great. Thanks for you help." Branch said

Barb looked at the memories she had in her hand. She couldn't help but smile. Poppy and Holly gave Barb that look. Barb looked at them

"W-what?" Barb asked

"You know what." Holly said

"You want to hurry and go home don't you?" Poppy asked

"Don't look at me like that." Barb said

Holly and Poppy looked at each other and smiled. They then followed the siblings with Branch and Barb
