Chapter 6

In the morning, Barb was talking in her sleep. Poppy and Holly looked at each other then smiled. Holly grabbed her hair and tickled Barb's nose. Barb moved her head down a bit for her to stop

Holly didn't stop. She tickles Barb's nose again. Barb sneezed as she woke up.

"Awww! You sneeze like a kitten." Poppy said with a smile

"Ugh! No way." Barb said

Branch gave everyone their breakfast as they all ate

The Trolls came across a river. There was a bridge with a pattern to cross. Branch began to think. Barb groaned from her impatience, and fought the urge to just go across the water

Branch stared at the colors and and gave a slight nod

"Ok! So we need to step on these tiles to get across. The colored ones anyway. Think of it like a rainbow. Once we get across the rainbow tiles we're a step closer to getting Thrash's memories back." Branch told them

Branch stepped on a red tile and it chimed. Branch looked at his friends and gave a nod telling them it was ok. Barb stepped on the orange one and started to wobble

Poppy noticed as she was on yellow. Poppy used her hair to steady her

Once they got across they continued to walk forward. Branch looked at the map to see how much closer they were then before

"We're almost there! Just five more days then boom! We're there!" Branch told them

Barb gave a smile once Branch said those words. They were so close. Just then these two Lulla-Lilly guards guards came out of nowhere. They played soothing music as Poppy and Barb both grew sleepy

"Don't you think you're getting a bit tired to go on? Maybe even rest your head." One of the Lulla-Lilly guards said

Poppy and Barb both collapsed on the floor. Branch and Holly put gumdrops in their ears

Branch shot his hair at the guards. The guards ran off. Branch and Holly grabbed Poppy and Barb and went to the entrance and waited for them to wake up

"You know Branch, at first I didn't get the point of all this going the place of lost memories. But seeing how much it means Barb, I finally get it." Holly said

"Yeah, I still think it's a bad idea though, but who am I to judge. It's not my dad. I'm the last person left of my family that I know of." Branch said

"Ohhh dear. What happened?" Holly asked

"I don't really like talking about it. It brings back terrible memories from my childhood." Branch said

"Then you don't have to tell me." Holly said

Branch smiled. They then saw Barb tossing and turning as if she was having a nightmare. Holly and Branch looked at each other. Holly woke Barb up

"Barb, you alright Sugar?" Holly asked her

"Oh it was just a nightmare. Oh thank god." Barb said

"What happened?" Branch asked

"Just a nightmare about my dad." Barb said

It got quiet. Branch and Holly didn't know what to say till Barb spoke again

"What if- what if we can't get his memories back? What if their gone forever?.." Barb asked

Branch and Holly looked at each other

"Oh don't worry Honey. I'm sure you're father will remember you. I mean he is your dad after all." Holly said

"Holly's right. If it's one thing Poppy taught me. It's to always look at the bright side of things." Branch said

Branch looked at Holly and she took out her acoustic guitar

"There are places you'll remember. All your life, though some have changed. Some forever, not for better. Some have gone and some remain." Branch and Holly sang

"All these places had their moments." Branch and Holly sang

"With lovers and friends, you still can recall." Branch sang

"Some are dead and some are living. In your life, you've loved them all." Branch and Holly sang

"But of all these friends and lovers. There is no one compares with him." Branch and Holly sang

"And these memories lose their meaning. When you think of love as something new." Branch sang

"Though I know you'll never lose affection. For people and things that went before." Branch and Holly sang

"I know you'll often stop and think about them. In your life, you love him more." Holly sang

Holly put her acoustic guitar back in her hair. Barb looked at them and rubbed her arm

"So the message here is to never give up. We'll save your dad." Branch said

Barb gave a slight smile as they saw Poppy wake up

"Man! That was such a nice dream~" Poppy said

Poppy looked at them and immediately stopped talking

"Oh! Umm let's keep going huh?! Let's ignore what I just said." Poppy told them and walked off

Branch, Holly, and Barb looked at each other. Barb shrugged and followed Poppy. Branch and Holly went after them then went the other way, since they went the wrong way
