Trolls: Forgotten King

Chapter 7

The Trolls were in a nearby raft as they rode to a place. It was raining. Branch continued to look at the map. Water splashed on the Trolls. The map got wet

"Ohhh no!" Branch said

"What happened?" Poppy asked

"The map! It's wet." Branch said

"Let's let it dry." Holly said

"Well then we won't know where we're going." Branch said

"We'll find our way around." Poppy said

Branch gave up and sighed. He put the map in his hair as water splashed on them again

"Just perfect! We'll get sick and have to settle down somewhere before we get back to Trollstopia!!" Branch said

Barb felt goosebumps and looked away from everyone. Branch noticed and immediately regretted what he had said

"Barb wait I didn't mean it." Branch said

"Let's just find somewhere to stay till it stops raining." Barb said

Branch sighed

The raft stopped moving and the Trolls saw a place. They got out and went over, shivering. Barb knocked on the door and a male sprite like creature answered

"Hi! M-my friends dad lost his memories, and w-we need to get them back." Poppy said

The creature hesitated

"How did you all manage to get this far?" He asked

Branch was about to answer till a female sprite creature came. She looked like the male

"Oh come on. Let them in. They're soaked and might get a cold." She said

Just then Poppy sneezed

"AHHHHHH 6 FEET!!!" Branch shouted

The sister let them inside by the fireplace for them to get warm. The brother sighed and sat beside his sister

"So why are you four out here by yourselves?" He asked

"It's for a good cause. To get Barbs dad's memories back." Poppy said, putting her hand on Barb's shoulder

"How did it happen?" The sister asked

"Well.. it was my dads birthday a few days ago. I gave this entire speech on how much he meant to me, and then I went over to him to give him a drink. Then he had no idea who I was." Barb told her

"Yeah that's what happened. Yeah she cried." Poppy said

"I didn't cry." Barb lied

"Pretty sure I saw you crying." Poppy said

Barb glared at Poppy

"Well there is a way to get your dads memories but-"

"REALLY HOW?!" Barb asked, jolting up

"Sit down kid." The brother said

Barb sat back down next to Poppy

"Anyway, my brother and I have to ask you questions in...." The sister began

"The Chamber of Truth..." The siblings said dramatically

"If you're honest you can be trusted and we'll give you your dads memories back." The sister said

"It's that simple?" Barb asked

The brother laughed

"Oh no. They will be personal questions." He said

"P-personal?" Barb asked

"Yeah, stuff you haven't told your friends over there." The sister said

Barb began to get anxious. Then snoring was heard. Everyone looked and saw Holly falling asleep

"Looks like it's time for bed. You Trolls can sleep in the guest bedrooms." The sister said

The Trolls looked at each other. Barb and Poppy took Holly to a room she could sleep in. Barb and Poppy went into an individual room and so did Branch

The siblings looked at each other and hoped the fearsome beast wouldn't attack again
