Suga's POV

Suga tapped his foot impatiently as Kiyoko finished pinning his hair up in an intricate bun made of braids. He sighed and turned to her. The torture wasn't done yet. Since he was a girl, Suga had to go through extra preparations to go with the old japan theme. He sighed and closed his eyes, allowing Kiyoko to paint his face with white and shades of orange. Once she was done he opened his eyes. She nodded and he ran off to make sure none of the team had gotten into trouble.

Daichi's POV

Daichi was minding his own business when Suga ran by. Curious, he followed. It turned out Suga was checking on the first years. When he finally caught up Suga was yelling at Hinata and Kageyama to calm down. Suddenly Suga tripped on his long kimono. Daichi ran up and caught him without thinking twice, and they found themselves in a very awkward position, Suga looking up at Daichi's worried face. Suga giggled and stood up. Daichi felt himself go red, and he turned to leave so no one would see. "Thanks, Daichi!" Suga called as he walked back to where the other third years were.

Suga's POV

As soon as Daichi left Suga relaxed and allowed himself to process. That was eventful, to say the least. Despite the fact he and Daichi flirted with each other jokingly often, this was different. This wasn't a joke, this felt different. This time Suga thought that he may actually have a chance to have more than just a friendship with Daichi. He may actually be able to flirt with Daichi and feel like it not just be a game. The loud first years drew his head out of the clouds, and Suga calmed them down before going to check on Daichi.

Daichi's POV

Daichi had finished putting on all the different components of his outfit, which there were a lot of. He walked out and saw Suga sitting there waiting with a far off look on his face. He tapped Suga's shoulder and he looked up at Daichi. Suga smiled and Daichi had to calm himself. He was planning to confess his love and end their game at the festival, but if Suga kept up what he was doing he might fall apart and tell him before he was ready. Taking a deep breath he went to finish the last of set up before the festival.

Haha, that was short but eventful. Daichi feels pressure to be straight but also has a flirting game going with Suga. I have confused you all and shown how bad a writer I am. Welp, you will get your confession soon and then I can do Tsukiyama and Kagehina in the same chapter. How? You shall see as I rush to finish this fanfic because I'm not happy with it.
