Why?

L's P.O.V.

It's been 4 months since William helped me. If your wondering, William is the Neko guy. I've become happier so I've dyed my hair lighter so it's now blonde!

William is so nice to me but when he's gone, a guy named Jim hurts me. It's been a week since William left. He left because he has to stay home to help his parents. His parents are weak and need help. Though William has left, I have to stay. Jim has given me over ten scars in the last three days. Jim has many friends and whenever he is gone, his friends hurt me.

I slowly hear my cage open. My cage is a normal dog cage. When I sleep, I need to curl up my legs just to fit in the cage. "Get up cat." Jim sternly tells me. I jump out of the cage obediently as he pulls my arm towards a room. Before I can see which room I'm going to, I faint.

Later

I yawn as I look to my feet. Lots of people in a crowd below the stage stare at me in awe. "Now we will start the bidding at 5,000 dollars!" We are currently in America so I can understand what's happening. After some boring bids he finally sells me to a man. He is around 18 years old. Jim pushes my cage towards him. The last thing I ask Jim is 'Why?'.
