You give the captain a skeptical look when he calls you by the pet name. This has been the third time you have seen him and he is already referring to you as his treasure, and it makes no sense for him to call you that because there is nothing happening between you.

He takes his glasses off and stands up from his seat and walks over to you, stopping a few centimeters away from you. You can practically feel his hot breath brush against you skin at this distance, your cheeks blushing due to how close he is to you.

With one hand, he raises it up from his side and cups one side of your face. His thumb caresses your soft skin while staring at you in an endearing way. Although you show no reaction to his touch, your heart is practically leaping out of excitement.

The little boy she saw before is now standing before her as a man.

And holy shit, he is gorgeous.

You notice how his thumb stopped moving for a while, so you break from your thoughts and focus back on the man in front of you.

The loving expression is no longer present on his face, but an expression of obsession.

He brings his hand to your chin and roughly pulls you closer, which eventually results in your two bodies touching each other. You drop your crutches due to the sudden movement, but an arm holds onto your waist to keep you steady.

"Oh, how I missed seeing you after that day," he whispers in your ear, his seductive voice sending chills down your spine. "I can't believe that I have finally found you."

He pushes you away from him for you to look into his beautiful brown eyes. "You're stuck with me for the rest of your life, my little treasure."

Stuck here... for the rest of your life?

You instantly push the man away from you, eyes widened at the last statement he has said. With none of your crutches in your range, you tumble backward due to the backlash of your push. You can't believe that he is objectifying you, claiming you as his without your consent.

"Are you insane?!?" you shout with fury. "I can't possible stay here when I have someone waiting for me at home! I barely even know you!"

You don't think twice about your actions because you are infuriated by the way he treats you. Even if he is a pirate captain, you don't give two shits about what you do against him. You just want to return home, the place where you actually belong. Your little sister must be worried about you and probably crying because she doesn't have her older sister there with her.

The brunette chuckles softly before standing up and dusting his attire. He adjusts his fur coat and approaches you with heavy steps, his boots clacking against the wooden surface. Like you have done with Seonghwa, you scoot away from the captain until your back touches a wall.

With no more room to escape, he crouches down to your level with a devious smile. "What the Pirate King wants, the Pirate King gets."

You stiffen once you hear that particular word you never wanted to hear in your life.

Pirate King...

He's the notorious Pirate King of the Seven Seas.

"My little treasure scared of me now?"

It seems that he caught on your change in expression when realization struck you, amused at the sight. You had no idea who you were dealing with, and now recognizing his title fuels his pride because everyone thinks twice before messing with him. He awaits for you to get on your knees and beg for forgiveness, to cry for mercy and for your life to be spared.
