Rhaelyn shivered as the chilly November air hit her face. Today's meeting with Alexei went surprisingly smoothly. Heading home her car had broke down a few miles back. She was walking towords her apartment building. It was worn down and shabby but she had worked hard to get it, especially while she was medical school and dealing with her father at the same time. She was proud to be able to say she had acomplished something. Opening the door she slipped off her coat and headed to the kitchen to make a quick meal. Rhaelyn finished eating and got ready for bed not knowing that tomorrow was going to be a long day.

The noise startled her out of her already fitful sleep. Rhaelyn glanced at her alarm clock. It was only 6 in the morning and she didn't have any classes. Who in their right mind could it be? Groaning she snatched her robe not bothering to check her appearance she trudged to the door. The man's back was turned.

"What is it that you decided to wake me out of my beauty sleep for? " She growled out before she even realized who is was. 🙊Alexei🙊

Alexei surveyed the area. Trash littered the streets, police sirens wailing at this time in the morning. Why hadn't Rhaelyn told him about her living situation? Alexei would fix it. The place was awful. It was no better than the house he used to live in as a child. Don't get it wrong, he appreciated everything his mother and father worked their asses off to provide for him. "It might look shabby to you & I know it is but this house has all my work in it. I can't afford to pay for a nice house with the white picket fence. As much as I would love that I can't . My education is the most important thing to me at the moment. My school fees are piling up. So what if the house isn't great. As long as I have a roof over my head and shoes on my feet I'm good.
