~*6 months later*~
The Straw Hat's had stayed on the new island for half a year and cured any sick villagers, gave them new knowledge, told them stories and even helped with their cooking and crafting skills. The villagers were much happier and had started to learn to open up their hearts to pirates but of course are still a bit cautious of them for the right reasons. The chief, who had finally recovered thanks to Chopper, couldn't have been any happier to have been able to hear what his son had done in his place and learned of all the generosity the Straw Hat's had shown his people. In their honor, he ended up hosting a village bonfire where food and alcohol would be served, games would be played and music would be danced to. Everyone was having a blast and bonding with the straw hats even more than they had already, some even more so. (Y/N) looked to Luffy who was eating all the meat and dancing as well before he started to choke, causing for Usopp and Chopper to scream in terror before he forced the meat down his throat.
(Y/N) chuckled as Nami and Robin sat beside him with smiles on their faces. "You seem to be really fond of our captain (Y/N)." Robin stated as Nami nodded her head in agreement with a big smile. (Y/N) turned to them with a big smile and soft (e/c) eyes. "Really? Hm...I guess you're right." (Y/N) chuckled as he watched Luffy bother Sanji for more food. "I can't help it since Luffy makes me want to take care of him. He's childish but yet, he's really admirable and that's what I really like about him." (Y/N) explained to him as the two girls nodded their heads to him. "But you should know that our captain isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, (Y/N). If you really like him, you're going to have to tell him and explain to him what you mean."
Nami advised him as (Y/n) looked at her in interest. "Explain to him? Does he not know what romantic feelings are?" "Nope. Boa Hancock is in love with him and has showed him and told him multiple times but he doesn't understand what she means so it might be a little hard for you to get it through that thick skull of his." Nami chuckled as Robin could only do the same and agree with her. "That's right. I think it would be easier if you show him at the same time when you are explaining it to him." Robin added as (Y/N) hummed before nodding. "Alright. I'll be back." (Y/N) stood from his seat before walking over to Luffy who was moping on a table.
"Luffy? What's wrong?" I have to wait for Sanji to make more food for the others so I could get my fifth serving..." Luffy sulked as (Y/n) couldn't help but chuckle at him. "I see. Well, I need to talk to you in private. Do you mind if I take you to my home?" (Y/N) asked as Luffy shook his head with curiosity. "No, what do you want to talk about?" He asked as (Y/N) walked him to his home and smiled at Luffy when he closed the door behind him. "Well, I want to tell you and show you how I feel about you." "How you feel about me? It's not bad right? You're a really good friend and I don't know what I would do if you didn't want to be friends with me anymore."
Luffy almost rambled as (Y/N)laughed and shook his head. "No, it's nothing bad. I just want to tell you that I really like you, Luffy. So much so that..." (Y/N) leaned closer to the almost shorter male and whispered in his ear as it turned red from the close proximity. "I want to kiss you every time I lay my eyes on you." "T-That's a lot of times!" Luffy blushed and widened his eyes in shock as (Y/N) laughed at his reaction and nodded. "Yeah, you're right. It is a lot of times and I really want to do it now." (Y/N) said as he smiled at Luffy softly as Luffy tilted his head. "Oh but what's a kiss? Is it good? Can I eat it!?" Luffy asked excitedly as (Y/N) thought of a way to explain it to him. "Well, it is good and you use your lips for it. Do you want an example?" "Yes!"
(Y/N) gave him a smirk as he leaned his face close to Luffy's lightly blushing one. "Alright but, don't regret it..." (Y/N) whispered his last words before he pressed his lips on his. Luffy widened his eyes before he closed his eyes when he noticed (Y/N)'s eyes were closed as well. (Y/N) had his right hand holding Luffy's cheek tenderly as he lightly bit his lip and licked it. Luffy's cheeks were even redder than before as he made a surprised sound, (Y/N) laughing lightly at the sound. Luffy tried to follow (Y/N)'s lead as he walked back and pressed his back against the wall of the living room. Luffy tangled his fingers in (Y/N)'s (h/c) hair as he tried to breathe in as much oxygen as he could.
