Peters POV
I sat on the couch mindlessly stroking Derek's hair.He was chewing on the promised chew toy that I had got him after breakfast.It was cute seeing Derek mad and pouty all over again.When it first happened Im pretty sure I laughed countless time,it's different now.

I had my phone in my hand texting Scott.He wanted to know how things were going,and I hate to admit that they are going good.To my surprise,Derek is completely submissive.I thought he would snap at me or convert back by now but he hasn't.Though it's going good,i am scared of what'll happen if it stays like this.

Derek has a pack and he can't just abandon them.Well,Scott could be an alpha due to his Alpha status,but somehow I know he doesn't want to.He is just a child and having responsibility over people in higher seniority than him probably isn't his cup of tea.I know I wouldn't want to.I did not always want to be an Alpha.

When the fire happened it left me with my own thoughts.All I was ,was a person with a mentality and emotions.I couldn't talk to anyone or do anything.I could only here my own thoughts.My thoughts were telling me to become an Alpha so I could heal.So,i killed Laura.Worst mistake that I've probably ever made.I still don't believe it's fully my fault.My mentality was screwed up and I was having crazy and lunatic thoughts.

That's beside any point.Derek is being an awfully good submissive ,but I am scared of what will happen when he acts up and I have to punish him.I dont want to hurt him,i have done enough of that in my day.

I feel Derek strands of hair slip from my fingers and I look down.Derek slowly got up and spit the chew toy."Doesn't help.Now my jaw hurts",he murmurs rubbing his sore jaw.

"There isn't much I can do about it.You wanted this,this is what comes along with it.Be careful what you wish for,should've known better",i told him,trying to guilt him into quitting.

"Don't do that Peter.I knew what I was getting my self into.Physical pain won't stop me.Physical pain ends easy.",he retaliates.

I sighed."Fine,do as you please.Im going to change",i tell my beta leaving to change.

When I got back,Derek was sitting on the couch looking bored out of his mind.He eyed me up and down confused."Where are you going",he asked suspiciously as I fixed my silver cufflinks on my nice apparel."WE are going out to the little Italian restaurant that Talia used to take me you and Cora to.The manager,Dave remember? He is giving us a free night.Get ready,and dress nice puppy",I tell him while patting my face with cologne in the mirror.I sigh at my appearance.I looked like a hot rich guy.Good.That's what I was going for.

A couple minutes later Derek came down wearing a black dress shirt with cufflinks.He wore dark grey and black skinny jeans with black dress shoes.He had on his diamond studs and he was freshly shaven.I smiled at him.

"You look good Der.Now,come on."

"Still looks the same",Derek whispered to me as we entered the seemingly quiet Italian restaurant.

"Derek,Peter! ",Dave waves us over to him as he spots us from the cashier.

"How are you Derek.You clean up nice.You grew up to be a fine young pup",Dave compliments.

Derek chuckles mindlessly."I am good.Thankyou for asking and for the compliments.",Derek thanks the man.Dave nods in dismissal.

"Follow me to your table"

Dave led us to a secluded table in the back of the room.No one was around this area.Their was a bottle of wine and dimmed lights making me laugh.

"This isn't a date Dave",i inform him while chuckling."I know.It looks nice and I'm sure you too would love wine ,especially with everything you told me about.Dimmed lights because the lights are bright",Dave explains.

I nod at the man."I will take your orders in a bit.Get settled and pick drinks",Dave informs handing us menus and leaving.

Me and Derek sat on opposite ends of each other looking at our menus.It was all very elegant and pricey.Especially the wine.

Derek puts his menu down,presumably meaning he figured out what he wanted.When I had also,i sat down my menu and looked up at Derek.

He was the first to speak .

"It looks just how I remembered.Same lights and perky old Dave.Menu hasn't changed much and neither has the seating.It would very nice of you to arrange a dinner here.Thankyou",Derek tells me while wrapping his foot around my ankle.

"Your welcome Derek.I know I have done a lot in the pass but I am trying to make up for it.By doing this and by being your alpha.I know you probably won't ever fully forgive me for what I did but I truly am sorry.Especially for killing Laura.In no state of mind was that okay and I am so sorry for that.I miss her too,she was my niece and now Cora hates me and I wouldn't blame you if you did either",i explain to him.

"I don't hate you Peter,i never have and I never will.Cora on the other hand probably does,but it is only because they never settled their differences.I have already forgiven you I did ages ago.I am glad that you are changing for the better,it makes me happy to see that I am getting my old Peter back.You need to stop apologizing and let dead dogs die.It happens years ago,you don't see me still trying to kill kate argent so stop bringing it up.I want to have a nice dinner without our family issues being brought up for once",he tells me.

I nod.He's right after all.Not everything has to revolve around the loss of our family.We will miss them but killing Kate won't bring them back,and neither is apologizing for killing Laura.

"Okay,putting our family aside.How are you feeling about the whole submissive thing",i ask.

"I am still fine with it and I still want it.I know that there will be punishment for acting out,i know how Alpha and Beta work.I will get over the punishment.I know that you are probably also confused about why I asked you and not anyone else.I didn't asked anyone else because besides stiles and Luca and Cyrus,we are closest.You are the only one who could do it at the point where I'd be comfortable with it.",I nod.

"I was a bit confused,thankyou for clarifying",i say right as Dave walks to us.

"Are you ready to order",he asks cheerfully.I nod.Derek orders first and then I order last.

"Okay guys,your food will be ready in 15.".
