Getting Official

*(Y/N) POV*

I was deep asleep, dreaming about some weird place

(Y/N): "No... Angel Ruby, I have to go back to real Ruby... *snore*" Then a loud knocking wakes me up. I stretch and yawn, before standing up and opening the door to our new dorm. Opposite of it, not to my surprise, was Ruby. Already dressed up. I look down at her while rubbing my left eye

(Y/N): "Morning *yawn* Petals"

Ruby: "Cookie! Get ready and let's go! We had to report to the General's office in the morning!"

(Y/N): "Give me five minutes, okay?" she nods and I close the door. After morning routine and getting dressed I leave the room. Ruby leans against the wall opposite of the door, and upon seeing me, she gets near me and grab my hand

Ruby: "Took you long enough" she giggles

(Y/N): "Hey, you try brushing your teeth with an electric toothbrush and not wake up your roommates" I lean down and kiss her forehead "And I almost forgot about a good morning kiss" I smile, only for Ruby to get on her tiptoes and kiss my cheek

Ruby: "Good morning, Cookie"

We continue our way to Jame's office, hand in hand. After entering, we wait for Clover and the rest. After five minutes he arrived, with Jaune and Qrow right behind him

Clover: "Good morning everyone" he hits a button, pulling up a few screens of the continent of Solitas, along with a few other images of what looks to be a Dust mind "Alright, gather around. Our mission today is to secure the launch site for the Amity communications tower. The designated area is an abandoned Dust mine. Since its closure, the Grimm have moved in. The good news is all that Dust that wasn't excavated is still down there. The science team says they'll need it for the first phase of the launch"

(Y/N): "So, any bad news?"

Clover: "Well, we've got Atlas military Huntsmen dealing with the Grimm around the surrounding tundra. They're keeping those Grimm from becoming a problem for us. However, the bad news is that there's one Grimm that's becoming a serious problem as of late. We've gotten reports of a powerful Geist that's managed to survive longer than all the other Grimm and has evaded destruction. It's also responsible for killing some of our people. After we increased our numbers, the Geist was smart enough to retreat deep into the mine itself. This means that it's old, intelligent, and very dangerous. This Geist is our primary target" he shows us an image of said Geist, which is using ice to create a larger body

Ruby: "What about the mine?"

Clover: "Well, the mine itself was a labyrinth back in the day. There's all sorts of tunnels and chambers the Geist can use to move around or hide from us. So, if we're gonna take it out, we're gonna have to split into groups and corner it. General Ironwood says you've seen your fair share of combat. I trust that man with my life, so tomorrow, I'll be trusting you all, too. Any questions?" no one said a word "Good, visit Dr. Polendina and Dr. Calavera. They already finished upgrading your weapons. Dismissed"

Me and Ruby leave the room

Ruby: "Calavera? I thought your mom's last name was (L/N)"

(Y/N): "She has a two-part last name. (L/N)-Calavera. She use either of those" I then look at the ceiling "Ozpin knew my grandma and my mom, that's why there is 'C' in front of Team CRMS and not '(F/L/N)' [first letter of name], for Calavera"

Ruby: "I was wondering why is there a 'C', but I didn't mind it too much"

We walk back to our dorms and proceed with waking up our teammates
