*(Y/N) POV, next day*

After meeting with mom and Qrow, Weiss went somewhere while me and Ruby went to that cookie stand. After buying some we made our way back to our dorms, calling it a day. Right now we are watching the match where Coco and Yatsuhashi fight against Emerald and Mercury. And to be honest, things were looking bad for our friends.

Mako: "Something is wrong with Mercury's legs..." We looked at him surprised

Ryze: "What?"

Mako: "It's like they're made of..."

Sam: "Metal. When he walk I could hear some metal clanking"

(Y/N): "That's why he uses mainly his legs to fight"

Ryze: "Maybe you can control them Mako..." We look back to the fight and see Yatsuhasi has been eliminated by a swift kick from Mercury, dropping his Aura to red. Coco soon joined him, as Emerald used her tomahawks to hit her out of boundaries

Oobleck: "And with an amazing upset, Emerald and Mercury are victorious!"

(Y/N): "Seems like we are next. Sam, get ready"

Sam: "You bet" We stood up

Ruby: "Good luck Cookie! We will be watching!" I snickered

(Y/N): "So better be ready for a good show" with that me and Sam make our way down

*Timeskip*

Me and Sam get down to the arena. Opposite of us stood a guy with black hair and green eyes, wearing some type of vest and white shirt with black tie and trousers. Next to him stood a girl with pink eyes and hair in twin ponytails. She was wearing a crop top with a small jeans jacket and a miniskirt with black shorts underneath

(Y/N): "Hmm. Wonder what semblance they have"

Port: "Samuel and (Y/N) from Beacon versus Zach and Bubble from Haven!"

Ruby: "Kick their butts (Y/N)!"

Weiss: "Teach them how to fight Sam!" I was surprised by Weiss outburst. I looked at Sam to see a small blush on his cheeks

(Y/N): "Wow, so you and Weiss were secretly dating behind our backs?"

Sam: "Shut up..."

(Y/N): "Oh come on. Better you than Neptune"

I turned to the stands to see Ruby standing and cheering, Yang was tying something to Ryze's back and Mako was again waving a flag, this time with 'CRMS' letters on them

Then the stage started to go through the choosing of our surroundings while I decided to talk to our opponents

(Y/N): "Hey man, nice vest"

Zach: "Uhh... Thanks... I think?"

(Y/N): "I hope it's fireproof. It would be a shame if I accidentally burned it" I said with a smirk. We wanted to talk more, but Bubble recognized Sam

Bubble: "Oh my Oum! You're Samuel Kiryuin! Can I have your number?!" Sam cringed, while I laughed

Soon the randomization process was complete. And again Lady Luck was on our side. On our half we got ice desert, while on their half we had forest, again. Knowing what to do I nodded to Sam as he returned it

Port: "Three! Two! One! Begin!"

Sam instantly rushed to the forest, but was stopped by a rock wall, appearing in his way

Sam: "What the...?!"

Zach: "You thought we will let you just go to your territory? We saw your first match"
