A small breeze drifting through the air, as the bright orange sun rises, waking people up, one by one. The breeze makes its way through an open window, where the sun was creating a spotlight, which, shined on a young girl.

The young girl was about 14, her dark brunette hair lay sweeping across the pale tired face. Her dull blue eyes were open, staring at the ceiling, waiting for something to happen.

The breeze went straight into her face pushing her hair, letting it gently fall to the side of her head.
Slowly sitting up, she yawned, stretching her small arms up as she made her way to the window, shutting it.
The bright light blinded her eyes and she leaned on the dusty window-sill.

In the distance, came a voice
"Amy! Hunny! Get up and come get your breakfast!"
Amy, sighed and stretched her stubby arms as far as they could go, before making her way to her wardrobe, which stood in the corner of her tiny room.

Amy's room wasn't that special, it didn't stand out much. She preferred having a small tidy room and keeping it organised. As you would walk through the door, to the right would be a wardrobe, full with grey, black and white clothes, blending in with the rest of the gradient of the room. To the left of the door was a small bathroom, which was blocked by another door, next to the bathroom door was the window, where she normally spent her time. Amy would look out the window, watching all of the amazing battles taking place. She did this everyday for a week, from the first day she arrived to the first day at her new school.

Next to the wardrobe was a small singular bed, which had a light grey dovet covering it. To the side of the bed was a bed-side table, which had a small lamp sitting on it, turned off. On the wall was full of anime boy and girl posters, one of them that stood out the most was a young boy, he had short brown hair shaved on the side of his head. Above this boy was the words "youngest most powerful hero ranker".

Amy looked into her wardrobe to see one pair of school clothes. The cardigan was grey, with a red tie, while her t-shirt was white. There was a skirt next to it, navy blue, plain, but pleated. She put them on and tied her hair up in two buns, before grabbing her bag and rushing down the stairs.

Once she had travelled down the stairs, Amy was welcomed with a sweat home-cooked aroma and a tall lady who wore a warm smile across her face. She had that look, where you could tell that she was kind. Her hair light and fair, it fell down just passed her shoulders. She was wearing a long floral dress, covered in light pink and yellow flowers.
Amy yawned and sat at the table.
"What's for breakfast today mum?" The lady with the floral dress placed a bowel dumplins infront of Amy and answered in soft voice
"Your favourite! Home-made dumplins, made specially for your first day at school"

Amy got an excited expression on her face as she quickly dug into her dumplings, she spoke with her mouth full
"Thank you mum!"
Once she had finished, her plate looked cleaner then it was before.
Amy's mum smiled and kissed her forehead.
Amy looked at the time
"Oh gosh, mum, I need to go before I'm late!"
Amy's mum laughed and nodded. They hugged and said their goodbyes before Amy made her way outside to start a brand new adventure.
